Thanks so much for all that info @Tanej78

I am too wondering if it could all come down to vitamins. I've spent almost as much on naturopathy as ivf and I really wonder if it is worth it however I'm glad she tested for mthfr as the fs never would've it seems.

I take all these vitamins and I don't feel any different that's for sure. Does anyone else?

Crazy isnt it @Caesardust... but it really just depends who is switched on or not.. i saw 2 nautropaths before Lynn B tested me, and they never mentioned it?!?

I don't feel different so much, perhaps a little lighter in mood? Before my FET i was feeling less anxious/down than i had for a while, but that could have been a combination of my husband being home from working away too. Now he's back at work, failed FET i feel like crap again.... But i figure better to not feel much, then feel crappier?

My successful cycle was a one embryo wonder. After 4 years trying for number 2 we realised we had our miracle and stopped. Good luck everyone. I also have a TTC diary "a team effort "..

I guess In the scheme of the wonders of IVF there is still a lot they don't know and a lot they still have to learn.
It's reassuring when your specialist is willing to look beyond the norm and test for these things though. I figure better to try on the chance that it works, than not give it a go at all.

We had our follow up app with new Fs today. Nothing new was found in tests which is great but doesn't explain why implantation is not happening! We will be doing Pgd testing this time and will be doing the Colorado protocol. I asked about the end scratch and the glue and will be using those as well. I just hope we get a few blasts. We only had one in the last 2 out of the 3 cycles we have done. Strong possibility there will be no Emby to transfer. I guess if the testing shows crap (which I'm sure it will) we will at least know to give up and try Ds.
    Ah the joys!!

    Hey @Jadette - it's such a frustrating process isn't it!

I hope that you get some great quality embies next time around and that there's at least one sicky one in the bunch.

Have you done the Colorado before - Will you be doing intralipids?

    All the best

Thank you @freakedout44 and I'm cheering you on too 😘💕💕Nope, Colorado is new for me. Yes will be intralipids, so will do some more research on that. So much googling!!

Hang in there lovely ladies! Just wanted to share my success story. After many years of dramas, ruptured ectopic pregnancies, pcos, tube removals, ivf cycles, we have recently added our second and final child to our family. She is 4 months old and the light of my life. Stay strong, go with you gut, best wishes xx

Default Anyone still trying for Bub number one after multiple failed cycles

    Hi,

We've been TTC #1 for the past three years as well. We've been with an FS for the past two. Did 6 cycles of OI (BFP but gone at 5wks and then 5 BFNs). Did our first IVF cycle last August, got 17 eggs (!) but only one made it to 5 days. Due to high risk of OHSS, we didn't do a fresh transfer, so had the FET in September. Alas, nothing.

Will be doing another stim cycle sometime soon (just need to get some debts down first), maybe around August. In my post FET chat with my FS, he said we're going to change the type of FSH I'll be using (used Puregon for original stim and FET) to a "natural" one to give me less eggs, but higher quality ones.

For us, it's me. DH's little men tested 100%. I just don't ovulate. Boo.

At least with the late chem from my first OI cycle it shows my body *can* do it. Just need to make it all the way!

There are some wonderful people here on BH in some great long term TTC groups that should join up with.

All the best for your journey for #1. I really hope it comes to fruition soon for you. x
