    Default Should I be concerned?

Woke up this morning to find this graffiti tag on the road directly outside my house. We have 2 dogs (golden retriever & border collie), so I was a bit concerned that it may be a tag to indicate we have dogs, to be stolen for fighting. Not sure though as I thought usually the tags for that sort of thing are a lot more discreet (its quite large), and they usually go for either small dogs or staffy/bull dog type dogs...?

Should I be concerned at all?

ETA - its super rare to get graffiti in our area, so that's why it seems so strange.

Eek! You hear about this often, I'm never sure whether it's for dogs or if that's urban myth. But I keep my dogs either inside or in the part of my yard where my cats are (so 6ft locked fence all round and cat netting on top) when I'm not home just in case.

It looks like a vandal tag rather than a dog marking one. To be safe though, maybe try to wash it off with a high pressure washer or if that doesn't work, spray over it with black spray paint.

@bezzy yeah we have a 6ft fence around the whole property and a locked gate.
@JR03 I've reported it to the council and they reckon they'll have someone out on Monday or Tuesday to remove it. I was thinking it was maybe too obvious for a dog marker... Hopefully that's the case!
