Default Lesbian couple TTC for 3 years, excited to meet people in the same boat!

Hi Everyone! we have been TTC for 3 years now with no luck, keen to chat to others who are having difficulties too, especially in the areas of dealing with PCOS.

I am not in a same-sex relationship but just wanted to say all the best! I too have PCOS and currently 35 weeks pregnant with a baby girl from having ivf. I'm 33 and found out I had pcos 10 years ago. I'm a 'lean' pcos so losing weight wasn't going to help me. I did not get regular periods so no ovulation for me. My AMH is literally off the scale. I tried clomid and metformin which were unsuccessful. Ovulation induction with FSH Injections got me to ovulate three times but BFN so we moved on to ivf. I then got pregnant from my first frozen transfer.
Three years is a long time, what things have you tried and is there anything specific you're looking into at the moment? Sending you and your partner very best wishes on your TTC journey

Hi Sarah, its nothing to worry about, it just makes it a little bit trickier. Plenty of women with PCOS end up conceiving, and I am sure you and I will both be amongst those success stories! I have been on a vitamin called vitex (agnus castus) for about 3 years and my periods are now regular at a 35 day cycle what other pcos symptoms do you have?

Hi Ginger Millie! Thanks for your message and congratulations on your bubba girl how exciting! I have tried vitex (agnus castus) which has helped regulate my period now i have a regular 35 day cycle, yippeeee. I am a vegetarian so my diet is great, and I take extra supplements for iron etc as well as a pre natal vitamin. I dont smoke, dont drink coffee, have tried fertility teas, pineapple core, complete 6 month alcohol detox...makes no difference. We are now at the top of the IVF list and saving money so hoping we will have a success story like you perhaps artificial insemination just isnt doing the trick for my body. xx
