Default TTC No 1 with PCOS chat #7

Its been 6 days since my period ended and I'm getting sharp pains lower abdomen. Has anyone experienced these? It's too early to be ovulation pain.. Could it be a cyst forming? I'm so over having PCOS it's really starting to get the better of me

Hi everyone! I used to be on here a lot but took a break for several months. I am still trying, it has now been over a year. If hubby and I didn't conceive this cycle, we will be seeing a fertility specialist.

Hi ladies, a question in relation to PCOS... I have had a very heavy feeling in my lower abdomen for about 2 weeks now. Started around the time I ovulated. AF then came a week early and was different to normal.(originally thought it could be IB).
I'm still feeling this heavy feeling and my tummy is swirly all the time. Is this normal for PCOS? I've been diagnosed fairly recently so I'm really not too sure what's normal and what's not. Generally AF is late rather than early.
Of course I've been googling and a post came up about ovarian cancer. Is it worth seeing a doctor over or does it sound normal?
    Sorry to be a worrywart...

Have you tested? I think that anything out of the ordinary is acceptable for a doctors visit. It could be linked to anything - have you been having more of a certain type of food, or different foods etc. or even stress?

@Lovebird14 I think I will take a trip to the doctor. It could just be a bladder infection or something. Can you get those without pain?
No new foods, I have been wanting more fruit lately and I've been taking my multivitamins more regularly?
The pain started while I was off work for a month overseas. So at the time there was no stress...

    Hi Gemima,
How did you go? did you end up going to the DR?

Hi girls, just wondering if anyone can recommend a good FS in Sydney CBD or preferably eastern suburbs, o have already had 2 previous appointments with a specialist and I was really unhappy with her attitude and approach, I am none the wiser after spending $500 on appointments with her and another $550 on a HyCoSy appointment which I'm not even sure why I went for that as I was not even having a cycle at the time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and best of luck to all TTC and those who are pregnant exciting times ahead for you

Not too sure about eastern suburbs but George Hardas is in Sydney and works with Genea Fertility. I haven't seen him personally but my friends mum used to work with him and said he is great. Has a lot of experience with PCOS.

@GemimaPuddleduck thanks so much for your reply, Genea seem to be the choice of lots of people, I have been diagnosed with PCOS but from what iv looked up myself I'm borderline what ever that means, hope all works out for you.
