HI Hope its ok that I have jumped in. We spoke to Dr K last night and are planning on going over in Feb / March 2016. Its ages away but all the preparatory tests, periods etc need to be done.

I'm 44 and we tried our last cycle with my eggs. Miscarried at 10 weeks even though it was always on the cards.

After conversation with DR K we're feeling really positive.

Im enjoying reading everyones messages and hope for the best for everyone going through this journey. Good luck.

I've had headaches early on taking the meds - maybe two weeks in? It might be to progy, or something else, keep in mind I have to take pretty large doses of progy and use oestrogen patches as well, so I don't really know, panadol helped and they went away within a day. On my pregnancy with Thomas I had to take progy until about the end of first trimester.

You'll be right Chillout xxx it's no worse than an egg collection. I need one too - my cycle was a bust and we need to get rid of the cysts that grew during this last cycle. Won't do it till a month before my next attempt which will be a few months away yet I think.

Good luck lovely xxx. Hot water bottles are your friend!
