Yay so many new ladies heading over in the coming months, all the best to you. Will be the best decision you ever make, make you wonder why you never went early. Xx
There is no Groups on this thread due to time delays the messages sometimes get missed I have posted updates with no reply and later had replies. Dr Nikos Kanakas goes through all your results and does whats best via that.
Medical insurance not sure if your can cover from Australia. We just paid our normal travel. I never had issues here and went to Greece with same thought.
Good luck girls. Dont question just go with it. Take pressure off and view as the wonderful experience it is. Embryoland was nothing like clinics here. We were gob smacked.
@Juventina sorry that you think there are cliques, and that your questions werent answered. Everyone's experiences are different and Im due to go over next month so might not be able to answer all questions.
Dr Nikos will give you time frames but from website its roughly ten days. Can be more or less as per others responses that ive read through the forum. He'll let you know once your cycle is established as regular.
Ive never heard of the medication Dr has put you on but trust him as he has been doing this for a long time and with success. My periods have been regular.
We've just organised travel insurance but not anything specific about IVF.
You will find the ladies on here are really supportive as it's been a tough journey for all of us, and we're all genuinely happy when a member gets a positive result.
I was with Monash in Melbourne and I had a good experience with them, in that the nurses were so lovely and supportive, the staff at egg collection and then transfers which i was able to see on the screen, take a photo and also have my partner with me. It's just that my eggs are no longer viable.
We're really looking forward to our Athens and Dr Nikos experience. To date he has been lovely and reassuring.
Good luck to all the ladies for a successful 2016 whether that is conceiving or birth and beyond.

Nobody is ignoring you we are all here to share, don't get emotional. I'm not always here anymore, since having my baby I'm so tired, busy and exhausted. When I'm on the mood and have time, I flick back just a few pages and read about who's going to Greece and try to answer questions.
This group isn't clicky, it's what it is, a forum of women sharing experiences and supporting each other when they can. I've contacted a few women from this group off the forum, who are now in touch with me regularly on Facebook.
It's currently 4am and I'm breastfeeding reading the forum because I use my phone and entertain myself while he's eating. Don't get worried when you don't get replies, I suggest messaging people with questions or ask Dr Kanakas, he will have a lot of your answers regarding your cycle. As for your insurance question, I never got travel insurance, to me it's a waste of money. It was a big gamble for me going to Greece, I invested a lot and it paid off.
My baby boy is now 7 weeks old and 5.120kgs, he's a good eater and is gaining weight. He smiled at me the other day and I nearly melted with love. I get told he's cute all the time and a few friends and my mum says he looks like me. Dr Kanakas really matched me well with my donor egg, or I just a chose a good sperm donor
Good luck to everyone trying and those of you already pregnant, congratulations!!! I'm very happy and glad I chose Embryoland to make my dream of having a baby come true. I hope you have the same experience of success as me.
