    Default Stains

I can never get my washing clean!

    Food stains etc...

I spray preen on kids clothes and use cold power I think it is or Omo (whatever is on special at time usually). And I put sard in machine too! But still stained with food or whatever. HOW DO ALL YOU PEOPLE WALK AROUND WITH NON STAINED BABY CLOTHES GOD DAMMIT!

I spray straight away on the stain with just a Coles brand pre wash. Then we wash with duo, a bit of bicarb, vanish (if it's a heavy duty load) and vinegar in the rinse cycle. Then dry in the sun. Works for us but maybe we aren't getting the same kinds of stains!

Soak, soak, soak. I have an exceptionally messy ds and dh who both have loads of white clothes and this is what works here

Sard wonder soap and if that doesn't work napisan oxyaction. Depending on the type of stain it may need drying in the sun too. Tomato is one that definitely needs the sun to help get rid of it completely.

But as HappyBovine said, prevention is easier than cure and I found catcher bibs to be great for DS.

Thank you!! I'm finding it hard even with feet on jumpsuits. (I'm using MILs washing machine so maybe it's different washing power not sure :/) I'll buy a bucket to soak!

    Thanks girls!

I soak overnight in a Kmart brand stain remover- it's awesome.

I use the napisan stuff (the powder stuff lol) and make it into a paste and put it on the stains. Seems to do the trick.
