@Nereid Thanks for the compliment Luv
You're rather lovely yourself!! How are you going?? Yep, I'm addicted to this place as well!!!
Hi all - well I promised the journey - high and low.
HCG only 71, progesterone only 10.7. I'm not feeling at all hopeful but thanks for the suggestion to ask for P4 @BlondeinBrisvegas - they wouldn't have tested otherwise.
It's not over until the proverbial fat lady sings, but I'd rather prepare myself now. I have the second blood test on Wednesday. If there's no rise...
Tough stuff! But I'm 45 so I knew this could be the case. Will update everyone on Wednesday. Thanks for the good vibes xx
@Jem70 I understand where you're coming from Luv with the "hope for the best, prepare for the worst" strategy, but I'm not prepared to concede defeat just yet!!!
I'm going to be everything, up a storm and going on a prayer vigil from here on in!!! Am hoping with all I have that Wed's test shows a good doubling time as that's what counts Luv ok??
Yes, P4 is on the low side, but if things are just taking off, it should rise as your HCG does or else it's onto the pessaries/crinone for you!!! Am thinking of you Luv and hoping everything's going to go your wayxo
Thanks @BlondeinBrisvegas xx
i know 9 is the minimum in the acceptable range so the fat lady can shut her trap a bit longer. I'm trying to count my blessings that it has climbed to 10.7!
the tough part is I know that it's impossible to do anything until I get my bloods again Wednesday but at least I'm not spotting so something is keeping that wee one in there.
Thanks for the positive energy!!
@Jem70 The fat lady can keep her cakehole closed permanently as far as I'm concerned!!😁
Your HCG could well be on the rise Luv. Depends when your emby implanted. No spotting is a good sign & an even better one will be your levels being 140+ on Wed!!😊
good luck Jem70. I hope everything's all ok. you're giving me hope. sending lots of positive thoughts your way for your next test
Agh need some advice @BlondeinBrisvegas been having some pain today around my right ovary. Started as twinges but now a bit stronger. Only when I move around. Google tells me it happens all the time but I'm a bit freaked. No spotting! Any thoughts wise one?
Could be put down to the normal "pings & pangs" of early pregnancy Luv.
You don't have any cysts on your ovaries or anything like that?? Not trying to scare you..just trying to rule other causes out???
