@Tahli Bahahahahaha!!!! It's not an "indent" as such Luv, but a shallow scratch right accross the fundus (top of the uterus) that's not deep enough to take any material out (as opposed to a biopsy where they take a sample of tissue about the size of your little fingernail and send it away for testing) but deep enough to cause a temporary injury

I guess she thinks the benefits will last for 3 months. I was always under the impression it was 1 month for a scratch and about 6 months for a biopsy??

I'm sure his boys are fine, he did get a couple of girls preg in his past but that was in his 20s.. Half wondering if I should get him tested... If he'll do it. Can he get tested at his GP?
@Kelly70 if he will do it, can you also get some of his swimmers frozen for your next IUI attempt? Or even a future IVF round?

When my DH and I started IVF we froze one sample in case he ever got performance anxiety and it gave me great comfort knowing they were there ready to go. I'm just thinking if he will go to the effort of dtd and getting a test and if his swimmers are all good, why not go the whole hog? That way if he gets bored/or a girlfriend you can keep going and not have to go back to choosing from a slim pickings list of donors...

The radical in me thinks why doesn't he donate a batch to all you lovely ladies using donor sperm and then you'd all have siblings!!

@BlondeinBrisvegas It felt like an "inDENT"!! Ok, slightly over dramatic. As you know all too well, it was all the catheter's fault, not the scratch, but as you can't have one without the other I have to admit to being slightly relieved at not having to have another one just yet! Wimpy heh?!!
I don't have to go on the pill for 21 days beforehand, double yay!! I turn 41 in Dec so I had this plan of starting IVF in July & fitting in 6 cycles, with possibly 3 stims before considering DE in Jan 2016. So with one cancelled cycle under my belt the thought of being on the pill for 3 wks wasn't doing much for me or my timeline!!

Ahhh @Scubagal, that's really sweet of you to suggest sharing DB's golden boys. As my 4 y/o niece says "Sharing is caring". What do you say Kel?!!

@Kelly70 I think you should change your user name to #notsharingthegoldenboys.
I often wonder if other ladies using the same sperm donor as me are on here. If I'm spurring on & supporting some-one who is creating a possible sibling for my yet to be conceived bub.
I collected my new meds & protocol today so I'm good to go as soon as AF shows up.
@BlondeinBrisvegas I hope DD's vomiting has eased up. It's sooo not fun with a small poppet is it, bless her. I bet you're up to your eyeballs in washing!!
Btw, I asked Lynn's nurse today about how long a scratch lasts for & she quoted 3 months. I asked her if she was absolutely sure it would still be there 6 wks after having been done & she said yes and that they aren't done monthly as it causes too much damage.

@Tahli Yep, it was like a Chinese Laundry at my place today!!! Am pleased to say there's been no more "Vomitrom" issues since this morn she's on the mend now.

Anyhoo.....fair enough Luv about the Scratch lasting 3 months. I agree that too much damage isn't going to help anything and really, who wants to go through that agony any more often than they need too???

Right-oh, so now you're on "AF Watch" When's the biatch due???

@BlondeinBrisvegas ...and it's sooo not the weather for running a Chinese Laundry either is it?! Hopefully you will have caught up by the weekend and you can switch back to just doing your normal 100 loads of laundry for the week!! Hopefully DD gets a good nights sleep tonight & bounces back to her full cheeky self by the morning. I'm always in awe of how quickly they go downhill and then how quickly they can recover. Meanwhile it leaves you exhausted. I hope you can get some spoiling soon too.

    Default Re

Hi ladies, hope that every one is doing ok?
Just wanted to come and recommend Dr Alice Huang. She works in North Melbourne. Very pleasant and takes time to answer questions etc.

Was hoping that my AF wouldn't come this month and it would be my lucky month but it did. Does anyone else feel a little bit of grief everytime it shows up? I can't help cry and give myself a really hard time about it like I'm feeling sorry for myself. But really I'm just sad.

Who'd of thought trying to conceive would be so heart breaking. All those years of not trying and when you want it how sad it can be.
