A super quickie... @Kelly70 my immediate hope was implantation bleeding too. This is completely left of field but it couldn't be eroded cervical cells from the DBing could it? You've had the spotting/bleeding 2 cycles in a row now, a few days after finishing DBing haven't you? Like I said, just a thought.

@Kelly70 I had two short cycles just like you've described and now back to normal - I think it just takes time to get over the cycling
@BlondeinBrisvegas the universe clearly has a lot of respect for you - signs are very positive!!

Ah interesting thought @Tahli - but I think if it was that then it wouldn't have developed into proper AF last cycle like it did. This still hasn't turned into AF yet but I'm thinking my hormones are just out of whack for what reasons, I'm really not sure.

Hum definitely a low prog issue - upgraded to the new stronger vitex yesterday and spotting vanished overnight, as good as using progesterone suppositories really. Jeez... I know if I stay on the stronger vitex my cycles will regulate so maybe I just need to. I just prefer my body to regulate itself really - I could also stop the vitex next AF altogether and hope my body regulates, as per what @Jem70 says, could still be a hangover from ivf (although that was over 6 months ago now so it's been awhile). Just not sure I can trust the cycles will regulate in time without support and I'm on borrowed time now, ttc wise.

@Kelly70 I think you should just stay on it Luv. Is it safe to take when Preggo?? If it is, then keep taking it I reckon You don't want a LPD to be the reason you don't get a BFP IYKWIM?? At least then you know your bases are all covered.

It's safe to take when preg blonde but they recommend you continue it through the first trimester, then wean off it. I reckon I'd be on proper progesterone support if I got a bfp anyways.

@Kelly70 did you take vitex prior to IVF? I ask because I used to take it and it did help me but, after IVF I started taking it again to try and regulate my cycles. Before IVF with vitex they vary between 32-38 days, normally 36. After DD in November they got back to about 33 days but then the mth i started vitex again my cycle got pushed out to 39 days. I just wondered if sometimes things that work in the past don't work for ever if that makes sense? But maybe if you stay on the stronger ones they will regulate?

Hi @Molros!! Yep I've been on it for a year or more I think and yep, you're right, maybe the efficacy has worn off - I've been on this low dose for less than a year and i remember being surprised it worked so well at all. But I'm pretty sure the 1000mg will do the trick. I'm just nervous of it because I read some horror stories online of ppl who stopped it in early pregnancy and miscarried.
