    Ta so much ladies!
Today CD8 my 4 follicles measure 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 11mm. So my 9mm grew 1mm a day to get to 11mm. If I work on them growing 1mm per day until next Friday CD15 they have the potential to be 12mm, 13mm, 15mm & 18mm. What would you do?
@Kelly70 your comments about being happy to have 4 follies has being rolling around in my head all morning. Funnily enough I was chatting to another 40y/o IVfer having her scan today. Because she only has 2 x 14mm follicles Lynn was offering her IUI. I'm going to re-quizz my FN about it when she calls with my blood results this arvo.
A little note: With the budget changes a few days ago you now need to contribute $36.50 per drug you collect for your IVF cycle.

@Tahli Well, the good news is they are growing, albeit slowly Luv Follicles are slow growers for some Girls.

I think as long as your E2 levels are commensurate to your follicle sizes, you'll probably be advised to keep going for now Luv I'd say?? That is strange about the other woman being offered IUI????

If you're due for bloods and a scan again on Monday, I'd just keep going until then and see what's happening. If it isn't much and LB still won't entertain the idea of converting to an IUI, I'd probably increase the meds then and see what happens growth-wise over the following few days.

The issue I have is that if your follicles are only growing 1mm a day on average, you might have to stim well over 20 days to get anywhere with them and I don't like that idea as I'd be worried going for that long may affect the quality of the eggs IMO which is why I'd be inclined to give them a boost

@Tahli I think you should stay positive - all it takes is one and even if they don't speed up it sounds like you've got a good shot at one or two!

Ta @Jem70 for your gorgeous optimism!
@BlondeinBrisvegas My FN just called & my estrogen is 588 (it was 312 on Wed) & lining is 5.9 (it was 4.6 on Wed). I'm starting Orgalutran on Sun & Mon mornings & then rescan on Monday. My FN is hoping for a miracle growth spurt equating to more than 1mm p/day otherwise she's going to suggest cancelling the cycle.
I asked what their min for trigger was & she said 1 x 20mm plus 2 x 16mm or 3 x 18mm. If I was so go ahead with less than that it would be my own decision as I'd know the risks.
I'm on Gonal F 300 & Menopur 150. Now is the time for the 'boost'. Do you think I should up the Menopur to 200? I feel so sneaky/naughty?!!

@Tahli Yep!! You could go as far as 250IU if you had enough of the stuff to get you through, but 200IU and a recheck on Monday is reasonable to me

@Corbes. Thanks heaps for your words of encouragement. And super congrats on your fantastic haul of eggs. Fingers firmly crossed for some brilliant day 5/6 embies. @BlondeinBrisvegas. I just injected Menopur 200 then went, b*gger it & injected another 50. What the hell. This ship's not going down without a fight!!
@Kelly70 Are you PAOS in 10 days? I was speaking to my FN about how ridiculous it is that I can't access IUI sperm & said I can understand why women in my situation go out & have casual s*x. She replied that a good number of women do it. How ridiculous to be almost backed into that position.

@BlondeinBrisvegas Yay, for all our plotting & scheming!! Yep, I'll definitely just keep it at 250. Thanks so much for encouraging my rebellion!!
When I picked up 2 extra Gonal-F 900 pens from the chemist today I couldn't believe they'd cost $900 each if you were actually paying full price for them...that's $300 each night plus whatever the Menopur is. Flippin heck!!

Right there with you on the compliance issues!! I set my own protocol last time based on what I knew worked rather than what my Greek clinic told me to do ... Worked a treat too :-D
