Ta so much for such wonderful support and advice @BlondeinBrisvegas. Did you have pain after the scratch and transfer or just during? I'm curious re the Valium at night after your transfer.
My FN also suggested Youtube too. It took me all arvo yesterday to read through all the info she gave me, check out the drugs, fill in the admissions forms, consent forms etc so I'll jump onto Youtube today.
Ta for the Clexane tip re icing. Did you feel the need to ice before any of the other jabs such as Orgalutran?
I had an umbilical hernia op 6 months ago & my tummy is still sore so I'm more than abit worried about how sensitive/stingy injecting into that area's going to be but there's no choice so I've just got to get on with it. I'd had so many exploratory laps then a pregnancy with c-section that it created a hernia in the area, so I needed more surgery to fix the damage done by previous surgeries...quite the irony really.
What time of the day did you do the Crinone pessary? I wanted to pop it in as I got into bed but my FN said to do it when I'm going to be active for an hour. That way the active ingredient is absorbed and what is left, presumably the cottage cheese, is just the binding type agent that can be got rid of, as you say. I guess I'll just do it 1 hour before bed, as the hour before bedtime with a 3 y/o is far from inactive! I can see him doing a running jump onto my tummy and the Crinone going squirting across the room!!
@Penny75 Having you guys for support means the world to me, a real life-line, otherwise I would be alone in this journey.

PS: Do you know how many posts you need to do before you can upload an image? I just tried to post a pic of my furrball too but it wouldn't load.

Yay! I've been waiting for the Mods to start a new thread so I could avoid being tagged as the thread starter like I was on the previous one. Seemed weird to show up in search results as the thread starter when this thread began as Kelly's journey.
@Kelly70 I'm SO glad to hear your brother is doing well

@Tahli For me, the pain (without my pharmacy of drugs on board) was getting the catheter through the cervix (excruciating due to the scar tissue and having a cervix "as tight as a fishes ar$e" according to Wazza..LOL) and during the procedure itself when doing the "scratch" part, but that's only a split second kind of pain. The pain was worse when he flushed my tubes as well on Cycle 4. After the scratch I was a little crampy and had a little bit of spotting but was fine by the next day

The valium's given to prevent the uterus from contracting during the ET procedure and afterwards "just in case", not for any pain reliving purposes. I had no pain after any of the ET's I had with Wazza. Some Ladies do experience cramping for a few hours or so afterwards and that's pretty common apparently but Wazza would rather avoid it if possible.

So much to read about and process it does your head in sometimes!! Clexane was the only injection I iced up for. That hernia sounded nasty Luv!! I've heard they can be very painful. Not surprised you're still a bit sore from the whole thing.

I was taking Crinone twice a day so used to do it say, at 7am and then again at 7pm. You don't have to be precise on the timing or anything like that. Yep, your plan is fine to do it an hr before bed. The "cottage cheese" is the residue left over after your body absorbs what it can.

Bahahahahahaha!!! the squirting Crinone!!! It's more like a white coloured lotion than anything else and doesn't leak like the Progesterone Pessaries do, so you'll be right!!!

I didn't think there was a limit you had to reach before you could post a pic?? Maybe one of the other Lovelies know???
