Default Soft Markers for Trisomy 18

    Hi,
I have just had my morphology ultrasound and it has picked up two markers for T18. The first is a choroid plexus cyst and the other is an abnormal echogenic growth. I had an NT scan done and was low risk. I'm booked in to see a Feotal Maternal specialist but it's not for another 5 days. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any advise ? TIA xx

MY ds had a cp cyst show in a scan at 19 weeks. I had another scan at about 26 weeks from memory and it could no longer be seen. He is 9 now and perfect

Good luck op, I hope your little one is well.

Glad you little one was ok. CPC's are really common and when found by themselves they aren't of concern. Unfortunately as our little has another abnormality they need to do further investigation

I'm hanging in there, thanks for asking. I have to see the specialist in the morning then the agonising wait for results begins.
