    Default Baby blankets

Hi ladies my DS is 4 months old and I'm just wondering what kind of bedding you all use in their cots.

Currently it can get down to about 14 degrees in his room and he's in a long sleeve onsie then a Love to dream and a sleeping bag (not sure of the tog as its a big w one). Then a folded blanket over the top tucked in.

I'm sure he's cold but I have a lot of pretty fleecey blankets and they just don't cut it. I also have handmade wool blankets. I'm just not sure what material is warmest.

What do you all use when it's cold?

    Tia

Natural fibres like wool or waffle weave cotton are best for trapping heat but still breathing.

My babies wear stockings, bodysuits, onesies and a sleeping bag in winter.

That actually sounds like a lot of layers for 14 degrees at night. Is he waking a lot or giving you other signs that he's cold?

I had bubs the same age at this time of year with similar room temps.
They were either wrapped in a stretchy waffle blanket (from bigw) or in a sleeping bag with another waffle blanket tucked in.

ETA they wore a singlet and a wondersuit
