Maybe Gabi has already been discharged? Maybe the hospital doesnt accept deliveries to famous people because you never know what's going to be in them? Maybe your friend isn't as close with Geoff as he thinks/claims?

I would dare say the hospital is rejecting them for the exact reason you've stated VP.

There's someone continuously commenting on her photos stating that they've tried to send flowers and they keep getting sent back to her.
@hellokitty90 Your friends name wouldn't happen to be Vicki would it? ;-) this commenter is totally going overboard.

According to the Nine MSN website, it was GG who posted via her Instagram that she would be in The Alfred in Melb "for at least a week".

Possible they wouldn't accept them from just anybody but if @hellokitty90 friend is a friend of theirs that they obviously know, it does seem a bit strange.

Or hellokitty90 hasn't ever posted on bub hub until now so I can't possibly believe either of the posts. 😳

I'm a nurse and work in a hospital and if someone rings asking if a patient is in or where they have been discharged to we aren't allowed to tell them. It's confidentiality. I'd say she's under a different name or the staff have been told to only accept flowers from certain people.

In the photo of Gabi with a ICC (chest tube) inserted, why doesn't she have any undies on?? Seems very odd. I worked in the Trauma Centre at The Alfred for several years, and patients' undies were not cut off unless necessary. Other clothing items were cut off, but very rarely undies. (Even if pelvic trauma). Patient modesty and comfort is important, even in the context of trauma.

I have quite a few patients over the years who don't like wearing undies. Sometimes they like easier access to the urinal bottle or pan ,' some find them uncomfortable . Not sure what her reason would be though.

I thought that was odd too. she said she'd had lots of bleeding and pelvic pain. wouldn't she be wearing a sanitary napkin and need knickers on if she is/was bleeding?

Im confused at why her face isnr bruised too.. I have seen a few people tumble down stairs not as bad as to get knocked unconscious and they hit their head too.. Must have been pretty lucky to avoid the head injuries.

You are probably right there. Although I find it interesting that she has a heap of photos of her in the hospital bed, showing her wound dressing, announcing which hospital she is in, to then sign in under a different name for privacy reasons?
