    So rude!

We had a queue jumper recently in ikea. I was waiting with the trolley and my DH was playing with our kids close to the queue. So along comes a random woman with arms full of stuff. She pushed my trolley to the side, causing a lamp shade to fall off and squeezed in front of me without saying anything to me We were only 1 person away from the checkout and it was really busy.

There is no way I would've said anything but DH came over and said (loud enough for everyone to hear) the back of the queue is down that way. She said but I've only got a few things. DH said yeah but you have to line up like everyone else. There were people in the queue behind us with less stuff than her! So she yelled at my DH "oh for gods sake" and stormed off. Like he had ruined her day or something. Weirdo!

I don't get people who do this kind of thing!

    Default Rude or not?

Totally rude. Whether I said anything would have depended on my mood.

Yes definatly rude & yes I would not have been able to help myself. I'd have to say something as long as the shock wore off in time. What a jerk!

    Mega rude.

I dare say I would have said "ummm, what are you doing?".

Must be the day for supermarket rudeness - the checkout lady at Coles told me a customer threw groceries at her this morning because he was angry that they were so busy

Nah I'm not precious with my groceries, though I know a lot of people are. I just figure they were on the shelf 5 minutes ago, where anyone could touch them, so what's the difference?
Except if it was bread, then I'd be cross!!

Who the hell pushes someone's groceries like that ? Don't give a crap that he had a friend who'd already finished. Hell yeah i would've said something! Even if it was one item. The polite thing to do is ask and not assume. I'm a little surprised harvs u didn't say anything even if your a non comfrontational type it's a situation that calls for speaking up.

I once was in line at a fruit n veg store. This woman then comes up and says i was behind that woman (in front of me)...but she wasn't in line...she had a basket and was getting stuff in between and thought she could just step back in till it was her turn. I said to hee you weren't in line and she argued that her basket was..i stood my ground and she said I'm glad not everyone is rude like you...so i said well I'm glad not everyonr is rude like you and cuts in line. She just greased me off
