    Default Rude or not?

So I just went through the checkout at Woolies. The guy in front of me had just paid and all my groceries were out on the conveyor belt (almost the full length). Suddenly this customer ahead of me's mate (I assume) walked past in front of me with his full basket.

The first guy said 'oh sorry', and then new guy proceeded to *push* my shopping back along the belt.

It probably added five minutes total to my shopping experience but I was pi$$ed about it!

I figure they were driving together but still! Surely this is breaking some shopper's code?!

    So...to ask that fun question...

    Do you think it's rude?
    Would you have said anything?

Definitely rude. I wouldn't have said anything but my DP would have.

Rude, very rude. I don't know if I would have said something, depends on my mood at the time I guess.

Yes rude and while I would have cursed him to hades in my mind, I probably wouldn't have said anything out loud.
    What a kn0b!

So rude! I would have seethed silently while wishing I had the guts to say something.

Wow, I think what he did was really rude. I would have smiled and said something like,'oh sorry, but there's a line up here, its my turn now, thanks.' I would not have liked it if he actually touched my groceries and moved them.

That is rude! I don't think I would have stood there being polite depending on how shocked I was. I would be annoyed if I was the checkout chick too.

    so rude!

I would have said something but I'm not scared of confronting strangers, esp in situations where it is very likely Id get back up (check out lady for instance).

Sooooo rude! I would have said something along the lines of "excuse me there IS a line you know", but working in retail has made me more outspoken especially when it comes to rude people. I'm also shocked the checkout operator didn't say anything.
Also agree with pp, touching someone elses groceries is a huge no no in my book.
This didn't even happen to me and I'm GRRRRRR!!

Ditto, I used to work in a supermarket so I have no issues speaking up when it comes to anything customer service related.
I would have pointed behind me and said "umm the end of the line's back there".
