@Charlie74 Yes..Wazza endorses sex before transfer as well as after (reckons the sperm @ what fluid it's in is good for your lining)😊 Not that it was going to help us with DP's Azoo!!😁

If the reasons Monash are against it is because of the risk of a natural conception as well as an IVF one then I'd go for it Luv😊

If the reason has something to do with the PGS side of things that would be a different story but I don't know as we never did PGS but some of the other Lovelies here have @ will be better able to answer that part of the question😊

P.S....I don't know what his definition of "lots of rooties" actually is either but as long as you're "throwing a leg over" at least once before/after then you're on your way!!!😁

In general I don't care what so called 'celebrities' do in their overly advantaged world. But I have to vent now and say Mich.elle stupid Brid.ges is on the receiving end of my WRATH! What a stupid arrogant thing to say, 'if you stay healthy it can happen' or whatever the silly toad said. What is the bet many of us are actually 'healthier' than her, especially mentally. I don't call being anorexic and exercising yourself to death for 4 hours a day 'healthy'. When are we going to find out surprise, surprise, that this was a donor egg?! This is very much like the BS Halle Berry story a few years back. The only 'celeb' who has handled this type of thing well in the media without making normal women feel inferior, is Sonia Kruger, even though I don't watch her tv program, I do respect how honest and up front she was about her 'journey'. BLAH.

That quote from Michelle Bridges annoys me as well. Such a smack in the face to infertile women. My mum plays lawn bowls and said that there is a woman there who goes overseas every year and likes to tell everyone all about it. One woman said to the lady that she was very lucky to go on all these holidays. Rather than say yes, I am fortunate, the woman said, well we are rich. I wonder if she is related to Michelle.

Skyler I don't know if this helps as I don't have endo, but in December my FS did a lap and hysteroscopy on me as part of my recurrent miscarriage testing. He didn't find any endo but I had a stim cycle in Feb/March which was a chem pregnancy followed by a surprise natural conception in April.

Charlie the no sex thing from Monash is because if you conceive then they know it was the pgs tested embryo that implanted and not one from a natural conception. On my FET paperwork it says that studies have shown sex the night before transfer is meant to increase implantation. Then it says for PGS patients not to have sex. I don't know how sex 4 days after ovulation would lead to pregnancy. I am having a transfer of a pgd tested embryo later this month and my husband and I aren't stopping. We have had one natural conception in nearly 4 years so we probably have better odds of winning tatts.

    Go Skyler!

this stuff just reinforces how society has sold us a lie with this fertility thing. Every second person thinks its totally possible to conceive in your 40s because of these d!ck head celebs who make it out to be so easy. And people never get told the truth (besides the Sonia Kruger thing) about it being a donor egg. Its frustrating as I watch people i know in their mid thirties who don't think theres any rush and that was me and now here I am. Its not until you go to the FS for the first time that they tell you the truth about your fertility and you don't believe it because theres so many people older than you having babies.

@Emerald26 that woman sounds like such a knob! I think I'd laugh if I heard someone saying that.

@tuxcat I got preggers the very next cycle. Hope it helps your egg quality and praying it happens to you too.
@Emerald26 yeah we are going to get any frosties tested. It's going to hurt financially but I figure it's cheaper and quicker than whapping them back in one by one. Also, last year my close friend went through exactly the same thing as mrsmac, I'd just like to minimise my chances of having a loss.

A friend of mine teaches his kids swimming and knows the mother he left for Michelle, apparently the two of them were pretty poor characters when they got together, his wife was devastated. I refuse to read or watch anything on them, full judgement zone here!

I've never been told not to bd, the only thing we've been told us to be every 2-3 days for the whole stim cycle leading up to egg collection so there is lots of fresh sorry being created and cycled out.

Update in my donor - 20 follicles. No idea of sizing and when I enquired if she was ok and if they were worried about ohss they said no, man I'm glad it's her building those eggs, that must be one bloated tummy!
