Haha yes we found an incredible brekkie but now it's 4am again, we are both up and starving, thinking about the next brekkie. We've spent both afternoons so far snoozing and on both nights woken at 7.30pm and neither of us could be shagged to get up so we still haven't eaten dinner out ! This jetliner really stuffs you.
FYI all, I just put a message on the SA forum about how great the embryoscope sounds to help with choosing embies but they've only had it in SA for 8months and it was NEVER mentioned to me in Aus so I assume nobody does it here. The dr reckons it improves success rates immensely so that's why I think CFC have had such a large incidence of twins recently. Brochure claims an extra 20% chance of success, he thinks not that high but up to maybe 10%

@leyshoja Yes, I've heard about Embryoscope and my FC offer it (QFG) for an extra $475 apparently though I don't know how long they've been doing it for?? It's still fairly new technology, but the time lapse photography capturing the embryo's dividing etc is really interesting IMO

Hoping you both recover from the jetlag asap Luv, it's not nice I know. I remember how thrown out of whack I was when I went to Italy many years ago Even made AF come really bloody early and I was on the BCP at the time as well!!!

Hmm, that just makes me feel even more like I got the blunt end of the stick with my IVF clinic in Aus. All that time and money and they didn't even have top of the range technology !! Ah well, I'm still persevering and that's all that matters I suppose...

Ivf Australia offer the embryoscope, but since I was doing embryo banking for pgd testing it wasn't offered to me. But they have posters up in all the clinics.

Yeah jetlag sucks! We leave at 530pm and 9 hrs later arrive there at 7.30am, so I reckon I'll be surviving on about 2-3hrs sleep- which is all I got last night (thanks prednisolone 😤) they say the best thing to do is try and stay awake till a normal bedtime there and then you'll get into the rhythm of things.
@tuxcat I don't know how you did it, even though I'm awake I'm struggling to get out of bed!

I leave next Friday so still a week to go. Just getting everything ready now, I pulled out some of my summer clothes on the weekend and fad to dash off to the alteration place to have them taken up and in! One pair of hiking pants I've had for 3 years and just roll the bottoms up when we go walking, I thought I'd better finally get them done properly! One pair of pants I bought last year need to be taken in so much at the waist as I've lost so much weight since I bought them👍

@leyshoja Luv, just live in the moment now and put what happened with those other fruckwits to the side for the moment ok?? You are with a world class top FC now and are getting the best of the best in FS, eggs, technology, equipment etc, etc plus you're on holidays in a beautiful part of the world!!!

In just a matter of days, you'll be getting your "Birthday Babies to be" onboard and I, for one, will be continuing to and send jetloads full of that you come home with a loaf or 2 baking away in that oven of yours!!!!

@Chiefsgirl Oooh Luv, it's sooooo close now!!!

Who doesn't like a little bit of weight loss (or a lot in your case!!) Yep, the Pred used to make me feel like a scattered mess at times and keep me awake too!!! Aaah, it's all for a good cause
