@Luckyme1 sweetheart I so hope this is the one for you and that you got that one good quality egg that you need. So happy to hear it is mature, now lets hold our breath while you get through each next step. I have everything crossed for you

@Corbes that is so encouraging to get so many fertilised, I hope that yours continue on well and that you get some good quality embies out of it. It's a great start!

Thinking of you today @mrsmac123 and had a great big howl for a few hours over lost babies. Did a very silly thing and looked at some poems that I had saved in a file with pics of my positive pregnancy tests and that just set me off. Does the grief ever end?

Leisylou, I think with any grief it just gets easier, but you never forget. You just have to get through the time of sadness with support and talking about it with us.

    Mrsmac thinking of you.

I've had a busy few days, I was in hospital on wed getting the plates out of my arm. Then on Thursday we bought the over priced house 'with great transport links' and we finished the donor counselling yesterday. I was completely on edge because of not sleeping after buying the house but my donor and the counsellor were really relaxed and great. So just a couple of appointments next week and we should be good to go. I feel like all the hard work of the past year is starting to pay off....

Good luck @Luckyme1 with your fertilisation results. I hope the one egg is the golden one! I feel for you as I know how stressful that situation is. All the best

@Bongley congrats on the house!! I lived under the flight path for many years and you do get used to the noise. Plus usually the houses are double glazed so the main noise is only when outdoors. Huge purchase so congrats!! Also great news about your Donor and Counsellor, its a hard enough journey to go through without having to deal with issues there so Im very glad to hear they are great people.

@Corbes also good luck for the report today!! I guess when you have so many to play with it takes the stress off a little. I still find it hard to fathom 33 follicles! My record was 9 and 6 eggs! Hoping to reach that again this year.

@Leisylou that is a beautiful poem, thanks for sharing.

AFM Ive decided to have a sick day on tuesday so yesterday was it!! I had some "team" f wits pull out of my leaving lunch at last minute and 1 not show up at all so I nearly got stung with their bill as we had pre-ordered. The other 90% of the team "had appointments" and couldn't make it. I only invited them out of obligation, you know, do the right thing, but none of them could have cared less. I know they are organising a cake for me on tues so I decided that I couldn't bare the fake niceties / speech and goodbyes so I packed up all my desk yesterday and left my security pass etc in my drawers and said "seeya tuesday" as I left!! Im doing it MY WAY as the song goes!! My boss is O/S at the moment and I figure what can they do! I have 4 hours of sick leave owing so may as well go out using it. Feels frucking great! I have never had the guts to do this kind of thing before but after the lunch response I just thought HELL YES. It has to be done. And Im supposed to be doing a handover with the temp so OH WELL, SORRY! So Im officially FREE but poor!!

Time to start going hard to work on me, my health, my business and my mental state. Yesterdays antics had me feeling like the outcast when her school friends dropped her, only that stuff never happened at school its happening now at age 41 FFS!

We had a few glasses of Red last night so now its on the straight and narrow as Im not far away from my next cycle. What a relief, although I don't think its hit me completely yet. I think not having that place and its issues to worry about will be a great change in my life, and it feels like for the first time in nearly 5 years I have a new stage to go onto.

    xxx

Bongley, awesome news on the donor counselling. Your donor sounds great. And congrats on the house, although it's not perfect it's yours.

Leisylou, that's a beautiful poem, I told our son that our some of our babies were angel babies and that they're up in heaven having a grand old time. Some of our babies got to stay, but one day we'd all be together and we'd have a wonderful time then..
