There's so much to do in Cairns - go out on the reef snorkelling/scuba diving, visit some of the islands, Daintree rainforest tours or self drive, Daintree river boat cruise, bungee jumping, wild crocodile spotting in the river, or the Crocodile farm, go for a drive up the coast to Port Douglas for the day.

If you need a quiet day, the lagoon, muddies and the giant tree house are all great for kids right in the middle of town on the esplanade.

A day trip to cape trib is great, but it is a pretty big day for smaller kids.

I find the best kuranda trip is to go up on the train and return on the skyrail. That way if you a bored of kuranda (or alternatively you love it), you are not completely restricted on your return trip time.

Hope you have a great time, we love it up here.

Yeah, but if you are bored of kuranda and they aren't too busy they usually let you get on earlier.

Kuranda was by far the highlight of our trip, all 3 kids loved it, the skyrail was amazing and the train was fun! Hartleys Crocodile farm was so great too! The esplanade was great for a swim
