When I am able to get back on the computer I'll try a floral one and another abstract with paler colours.

I will stick with my plum colour scheme but also try and find a different shade. I'm not sure if I love this current one.
    Sounds like a plan

I like the softness of the flowers and agree that the abstract watercolour just seems a bit harsh. For me, the point of watercolour is to have that dreamy softness.

I love water colours. (Family of artists).

I would do bigger background of flowers matching the colour theme you are doing

I just think the plum colour with waterolour like that doesnt work.

the bluish one is nice ... but the plum/dark ones look too much like spilt wine, or blood

I think the second and third inspo pics are the most 'youish'. Also I like the colour scheme and fonts.

    Thanks y'all!

I'm working on flowers- that takes a loooooot of time!

As for the plum looking like blood or wine, I totally get what you mean. Just not sure if I can compromise on the colour- that is what I have chosen for my bridesmaid and it will be the accents on other little bits and pieces so it would be weird to have a different colour on the stationary?!

You go with the wine them and with glassware.
Another idea is watercolour pic of a mountain type scene similar to the venue.
