Sunny - disappointing to have to freeze all in the end but worth it. They went ahead with mine in January and the whole 9 weeks before the miscarriage I was miserable with pain as my ovaries were 10x their normal size. No fun in that! My first cycle I was in icu because of it so that one was cancelled (I didn't mention that earlier I don't think, didn't want to scare you!). Good news was, my fet 3 months later resulted in my daughter.

Spec - I'll try not to poas til Saturday. Chances are slim though. As I didn't trigger, that's no issue. I tend to do it obsessively, like every day once I start but I really don't want to do that to myself this time. Last cycle in jan was such an ordeal anyway as it turned out that my positive became quite a long drawn out torture that even a bfp isn't going to make my heart sing this time around. I'll hold my breath til at least 12weeks.

Sorry to hear about the OHSS Sunny, but glad you are starting to feel better. The wait will be worth it.

Kizmetzing, sounds like you've had a rough time 😞 You are definitely due for some good luck. I know what you mean about the 12 weeks. Last year I miscarried at 11 weeks, and one of my fears is that I won't react to a positive test the way I 'should'. Unfortunately, after a miscarriage a pregnancy seems like just a step towards a baby, and not a guarantee.

Oh kizmetzing! How awful! I am so sorry to hear that. Glad to hear you eventually gained a daughter from the process. That is utterly terrifying, I was already paranoid so I am glad you didn't tell me. Dr Google and you tube had already been stressing me out (I had too much time on my hands).
I actually realised this am how swollen I was, it has started to come down and I am skinnier than I thought I was! Ha ha! Bonus.
Really glad we didn't do transfer now, just want to feel normal again even for a couple of weeks.

Are you feeling any better yet Sunny? Oh how I don't miss that feeling. I've hit a flat spot in my TWW. I think I should probably go for a jog and get rid of this sense of dread that seems to overwhelm me about this time every TWW but I'm not going to get that in during daylight hours before Friday - the result of that is most likely me POASing tomorrow morning and getting even more down in the dumps.

Kismetzing, sorry that you are feeling flat. Do what you need to do to boost your spirits, keep yourself busy. It'll be the longest wait of your life, but hopefully worth every second.

Sorry to hear kizmetzing. Anything to keep your mind off the waiting. I have my fingers crossed you are going to be the first bfp on this thread. Wish there was an answer on how to get through this time without the anxiety.

I am feeling much better, I have lost 2 kgs. I suppose all the fluid. Still hurts to perform any bodily functions (tmi??)!!! I am feeling like me again - the hormones were horrible and I hated feeling so emotional and out of control. I was starting to lose sight of the baby at the end (maybe). I think I am in a better frame of mind for transfer next month. I feel the whole process really was hard on my body
and it needed time to recover.

How are the injections going spec? Your ultrasound is on Friday???

And my other 5 embryos they grew on to day 6 didn't make it.
So 5 frosties in the bank. That will see us out, if we don't have any luck I will have tried.

Such a wonderful attitude Sunny! It's very important to get your body and mindset healthy before transferring. You sound like you are doing really well. 5 frosties give you a great chance.

Injections are going well. I think the side effects are slowly sneaking up on me, but so far they are only minor (slight headache, just feeling 'off' and I seem to be 'aware' of my ovaries but it's not painful). But I certainly can't complain.

Bloods and scan tomorrow (Friday) and hopefully find out the plan from here. The original plan was aiming for egg pick up the week of the 24th, so fingers crossed we are on track for that.

Kizmetzing, you are one day closer! We have everything crossed for your BFP!
