    Hi Sunny,

I started Gonal F on Friday and the Orgalutran on Tuesday. I have really bad shooting pain/stinging from the Orgaulatran for about an hour after.
I have a follicle scan and blood test tomorrow. I normally have a bit of pain from my ovaries and never have a big enough follicle and i haven't had any worse pain than normal so i don't think they will be big enough yet.
Fingers crossed though as my partner already has next Tuesday off work so if i can have my egg collect that day it would work out perfect!

I really wish like you i didn't tell people. At least it stops the questions on how its going every time!

Fingers crossed for you this month. Hopefully we all get pregnant at the same time!

    Hi everyone and welcome IVFstruggle,

So sorry that I've completely fallen of the face of the planet. I've been thinking of you all and have gone to jump online but things keep popping up.

Our little bubs made a safe arrival into the world a few weeks ago. My husband had asked that I keep details off the internet world. I feel horrible for not passing on details because I feel we've all shared such a private part of our lives but I'm sure you'll understand. But I will say we've been sure to take in and enjoy every moment, even the middle of the night feeds, because we aren't taking this for granted. We know how lucky we are for this to have worked out for us and will be forever grateful.

IVFStruggle, I'm sorry that you've had to join the group but you will find nothing but support here. Best wishes for your tests tomorrow, I'm sure all will go well.

Kismetzing, I hope your trip is absolutely amazing. I'm sure it will be, how could it not be?

Sunny79, such an emotional decision to make. But I'm hoping it doesn't come to that for you. The worst part of infertility is the unknown, it's horrible. But try to hold on to any glimmer of hope. I still vividly remember one Specialist telling my I'd never have kids years ago and having my world crash down. A friend convinced me to get a second opinion and that changed everything. Fingers crossed this FET works, but if it doesn't it could be worth seeing a different specialist. I'm not knocking your current one, but sometimes a fresh set of eyes can see things others can't.

My fingers are crossed you are all sharing some great news soon xx

    Default Geelong Monash IVF

    Congratulations Spec.
I am sure your little one is beautiful.
I had booked an appointment with DrMatthias in Sydney but didn't go ahead with it.

Ivfstruggle I found the orgalutran had a little sting but I didn't find any issue after the injection. Have you tried icing the area before injection? It might help. I felt like I needed to pass wind/very full before EPU but no pain so hopefully those follicles are growing for you.
Good luck for your scan tomorrow, keep us posted. Hoping for great results for you. Xxx
I hope we are both pregnant together, I like your thinking. ;-)

Congrats Spec on the bub. Its great to see a positive story! It makes me realize there is hope!
Sunny i haven't tried icing it yet but i will try this tomorrow. My scan wasn't great. Had 55 follicles each ovary with 2 on my right at a 9 and LO had 2 10's and 1 9. All the rest were between 1-4. Stupid PCOS!

So pretty disappointing since my egg collect was booked in for Tuesday.

Just waiting on Monash to give me a call now to see what the plan is. I'm thinking probably one more click up and another scan Tuesday but we will see!

Oh ivfstruggle. Why is everything so difficult.
    What did Monash say?
Good luck, you want some good ones to harvest but not too many.
    How are you feeling?

Thank you! They got 4 eggs. One wasn't mature and one didn't make it overnight. Had a 3 day transferred today and one frozen. I thought I would have more but I'm very happy. I was very surprised how easy the egg collect was! Apart from pain in my left ovary I have been feeling pretty good! I have my preg test next Friday so fingers crossed. How are you going?

Sunny: Glad to hear lining is good and you have the go ahead for Friday. How are you feeling about it all? I imagine it's a bit of a roller coaster in terms of emotions.

IVFStruggle: Great that you haven't had much pain. I remember egg collection being the worst part for me. I had no side effects from the medications, but I was so sore after collection. Congrats on being PUPO! Sending positive vibes your way. How do you plan on distracting yourself for the TWW? I was never any good at waiting! When trying naturally, with clomid and IVF I never made it passed 10dpo. I swear I was keeping pregnancy test companies in business!
