I am with Monash ivf Geelong too. Currently on first ivf cycle. For us first appointment February so almost 6 mths to get here. Depends on your issue.
We had azoospermia diagnosis, so further testing then biopsy before we could move to this stage.
    Where are you at now?

How exciting for you to be starting (and terrifying!). Best wishes 😊
We go in next week for our nurses consultation, and I believe we begin injections soon after.
How far into you cycle are you?

What have the side effects been like? Good luck for your tests tomorrow.
Random question: what time do you do your injections? I'm assuming it's same time every day. I'm just wondering because I have a few work events coming up that I've so far managed to avoid committing too.
Are we allowed to name Doctors on here? It would all be positive!

I'm with Monash Geelong too and lining scan tomorrow for FET next week if all goes well (may see you there Sunny, hope all goes well for you!). I was initially with Gab but now with Prue (who I think is fabulous!). We had our initial consult in Feb 2010 and cycled the first time in Apr 2010. Good luck Spec!

Hi Kizmetzing! It will be nice to have someone else on this crazy journey, with spec 3, Geelong girls. I am there early morning no doubt about the same time as you! How many frozen embryos do you have? Have you only had the one cycle in 2010? I hope you are the first of us 3 to get a BFP as we are all looking like will be close together in transfers if all goes well.

Spec I was on one injection in evenings for first 4 days (gonal f), then adding orgalutran in the mornings from day 5. Has to be same time morning and evening - I do 8am and 9pm to work around my schedule, you can choose any time. I have had the worst cold this week - whole week off work - sinus infection on antibiotics. Recovering today but have been sleeping upright in a chair as too congested to sleep! Now dizzy and headaches! Any symptoms from the injections......hard to know which are the cold and which are from the injections. I just hope I am stimming ok and don't have to cancel the cycle due to illness!

Hey sunny, I've done three stim cycles (April 2010, October 2014 and jan 2015) and this will be my third fet. Kate seems lovely, she did my last transfer. I hope you're feeling better ASAP. I've been told it shouldn't effect your cycle but hard to tell really isn't it? I'm sitting at siles atm awaiting my turn, so hopefully all good. Hope your scan went well this morning.

Ive vey been seeing Petra at Newtown ivf and fertility support for acupuncture so it will be interesting to see if this has any effect.

    Hi kizmetzing
I had my scan earlier today.
    Right ovary 18 follicles
    Left ovary 21 follicles.
20 in total over 10 in size.
    Lining 11.9
Pretty happy we have so many follicles but hoping this is not going to lead to ohss.

    How did your scan go?

Thanks for sharing your stories 😊 it's nice to hear how others are going. I take my last Pill tomorrow, I know it's not a big deal but it seems like one step closer!

Wow, Sunny! 20 follicles is impressive, do you feel like your ovaries are about to explode?

Kizmetzing, how did your scan go? Fx for you!
