    Wow Heids, a five hr gap, if only occasionally is fantastic!
    My dd was like your dd, a power feeder, a few minutes each side and all done. It was so different after ds who would hang around there what felt like all day. I'm just glad it wasn't the other wY round!

    DD was also a power feeder. Although she's small she maintained her weight. Must of been getting enough!

    And another big congrats Tugs! I'm so happy for you. Been excited all day.

    Power feeding... They're just taking more in a smaller amount of time?

    Does that feel weird?

    I genuinely can't imagine what breast feeding would feel like.

    Dd was far from a power feeder 30-40 minutes each side till between 6-8 months and then still 20 mins a side till about 16 months

    @Trio same DS took an hour! @sjk I seriously thought it wouldn't work out this time as it was so hard the first few days but luckily it's worked out with help from a lovely LC at the hospital.

    I found it easier the second time round, my milk came in much faster and I had more of an idea. That said every breastfeeding relationship is different, and you have to learn how the new one works!

    Im just so glad i dont have the latch pain that I had with DS for the first 6 weeks, ouch!
