I never had any expectations as to what I wanted I guess. We would be over the moon to have a girl but not disappointed if it wasn't iykwim? Friends/family have given me the sh1ts with their "im hoping for you its a girl" "it better be a girl". I actually think with this small age gap a boy would be cool because ling and bub could become great buddies. Ive already braced myself for the possibility of people not being excited if we have a boy. I know MIL would be disappointed, possibly DH too.

I get annoyed at family/friends who are disappointed with gender. As if you have any say in it? Screw them. The baby doesn't need their approval, and Bub will have your unconditional love regardless.

I'd love either next but if I'm honest, I'd want a boy for #3 if I have two girls first.

Two will be my limit. I don't mind either way next time. I really wanted a girl first time though. I just got lucky.

Heids, why do you think a third may be off the cards? I know we are totally done at two.
