    Default Flying advice please

We are travelling to the Gold Coast in October direct 2.5hr flights both ways with a 6 yr old and a 22mnth old....... any tips to avoid an awful trip would be good. The 6yr old will be fine but the 22mnt old won't be happy sitting still oh children both are boys. The flight over is at 0850 and the one back 1130am.

A small etch a sketch thingy, best $5 I've ever spent! Ds spent ages drawing then erasing, then drawing then erasing. Random toys in various small bags/purses. Ds loved unzipping or unbuttoning the bags to find a small toy inside. Might be an animal in one and a car in the other, a complete surprise. I'd pull one out every time he started to loose interest in whatever he was doing. Small snacks in little containers, things that take a long time to eat such as cheerios or sultanas, they were great time wasters. Small books, the little library sets you can get. Ds liked putting them in and taking them out as well as reading them of course. That's all I can think of right now, good luck.
