Hi @bbhope yes i rang them earlier and they said they dont do pathology testing unless you need to be tested prior to giving blood -for blood bourne diseases i think. I have also tried QE II genome/genetic pathology and western diagnostic. All no go. But i just received and email from my Dr here in Perth that has said he is starting up testing for HLA in the near future, hopefully by end of Feb. Is this the same test/condition as DQ Alpha? Oooh i hope so!!

@bbhope. No I'm not sure of the dosage. Duh, I should have checked. Might call them again tomorrow.

Just a quick question. Does anyone in Brisbane ( or towards the Gold Coast) know if St Andrews Spring Hill is the only place you can do intralipids as a day patient in the infusion clinic? Are there any other hospitals that also do this? Thanks 😊

    Hi ECM,
I had my dq alpha done in Sydney when I was there. Had to go to a special pathology called Douglas Hanly Moir. It might be worth giving them a call to see if they have any reciprocating centres in WA? Contact number below xx

I don't think so, I've seen a few of the ladies talk about a Dr in Melbourne that does it but I assume you would already have to be a patient and as I'm already pregnant I can't really wait that long. Unless anybody is aware of anywhere else it can be done in Melbourne?
