Thanks PreciousHeart. I am seeing M on 13 Jan with results. Good luck to you. U trying for the 2nd one? I had done 2 fresh cycles, 1 FET last year. My embies never stick so never experience pregnancy. Mild PCOS otherwise nothing is found. Hoping 2016 will give me a better chance giving I am only mid 30's and been trying natural since 2012 it is really frustrating.

Hi girls, sorry if this is a repeated question but i am getting quite confused with myself jumping between all the different forums. I finally have my phone appointment with Dr M on Wednesday. I have done 4 tranfers-2 fresh, 2 frozen- 1 my own egg the others donor eggs. So i am going to ask Dr M to test for DQ alpha match. What else should i ask him? I have done 2 transfers using immune protocol and still had no luck. I have had 3 hysteroscopy in past. I am 34yrs. I have elevated nkc but nothing else out of the 'norm' except that I just cant fall pregnant. Hubby sperm is great.

Any advice on what i should ask Dr M to test for? Im thinking Dq Alpha, HLA (although im not too sure what this is?), adenomyosis, im just wanting to be tested for absolutely everything!! Thank you xx

HI Precious Heart, I also have some evidence of adeno. Do you have endo? I am seeing Dr B in NY and he said that the two almost always go hand in hand. If you have adeno, it may be worth having a lap to see if you have endo and, if so, having it excised in order to cut down on infammation. Although some doctors would say that simply using immune drugs would be enough to deal iwth the inflammation from adeno/endo and the lap is unnecessary (my doctor is not of that school). What is zoladex? I know that some doctors for endo/adeno suggest lupron depot; my doctor suggests a natural cycle with letrazole.

Hi Charlie, yep he attends, but no you can't claim anything in Medicare.
You arrive at 2pm, get admitted and have the saline infusion started, he gets there about 5pm and starts the intralipids/ivig and then comes back half an hr later to check on you and can give you an scripts etc.

The receipt talks about cycle monitoring, but there is no item number.

Default High Natural Killer Cells #7

@Charlie74 Gwyneth told me I could stay in the hospital overnight, I just need to let her know beforehand. She said I would be there till at least 9 or 10pm. Sydney airport has a curfew so we won't make a flight home that night.

I know you don't have phi, but you are paying for a bed and surely the cost doesn't go up if you stay overnight.

Yep you can stay overnight with no extra cost. A friend of mine lives in Adelaide and did this. Actually a friend who lives in Sydney did too, just so she could get some sleep - she has a toddler!

There is no item number for using intralipids for fertility, if we were anorexic or I'll and not able to eat it would be covered! (There is a huge amount of calories in it)

Yep, you might be in a share room, but you have a bed. I'm in a single room today. Almost finished my intralipids, then another saline bag then I can go home. I live 15 mins away so don't stay the night.

I've been in a share room three times out of 8 so not that many.

Hi USHMM... I had the adenomyosis diagnosed by MRI have never been told I have endo but do have lots of fibroids & had big op for those in 2008. Zoladex is an anti breast & prostste cancer drug... It puts you in menopause & lowers the inflammation in the glands of lining to allow implantation. I had to do 3 months. It's now on PBS so only $37 instead of $400 a month! Definitely look into it - you can phone consult with prof tremellen at repromed re this - he is a champion & expert on adenomyosis. Get your tests first then send to him. All the very best, it sucks! Xx
