    Hi,

Been keeping quiet in the forums. Tracking to see how you girls are doing. MCGBertie, Josephine Jean is a lovely name. Hope the nurses' visit well all well and Josephine is tracking well with her weight/growth.

Brief update: Cycle #7 - cancelled, no embies made it to Day 5. Nothing more gut wrenching than getting a call in the morning to say that there will be no transfer.

Cycle #8 - threw in Saizen in the mix. Did not get follicle count up, got 3 eggs, 2 fertilized and made it to Day 5. Transferred 2 embies ( morula ), on my two week wait. This whole winter, I had managed to stay healthy, and BOOM, hubby gets flu 2 days after the transfer. I get the flu last Tuesday, chills, fever ... WHYYYYYY??? I still feel sick. BT is scheduled on Monday, I've been trying to stay positive but, getting grumpier by the moment.

Has anyone heard of Shen Therapies?

Yes, like littledragon2013 said, it is all about your comfort zone is with these protocols. I also threw everything in (like the intralipid on top of bondi protocol) in the end. I dont' know if it did the trick but at least i could say i'd tried my best if it fails.

Sorry, haven't heard of shen therapies. However, I also did the extra of acupuncture during the cycle, before and after embie transfer. I took some chinese herbs given by TCM practitional. My FS also added maca root, melatonin to my last cycle. They are used for balancing the hormone. I stopped all of them during the cycle.

    Thanks @bbhope.

I feel like I have thrown in so many components already ( plus money ). I have a nutritionist, accupunturist, FS, immunologist...

This shen therapy thing is claiming a high accuracy rate for pregnancy, plus high fees. Hubby and I capped the cycles at 10. We are on cycle #8, and I am not feeling optimistic, just simply because I feel so sick with this flu.

Hi Hope. It is very hard to stay positive, especially the last two days. I always have total break down that time. Figure cross for you.

    hi littledragon,

BT result came back at 84. Will do another one tomorrow. Am still spotting, which I don't know what is a lot and what is "acceptable". I am back on progesterone gels.

Am happy with 84, taking it one day at a time.

    How are you ?

    Cheers.

Hi Hope. I think 84 is good number, as long as it is as heavy as full flow. Spotting is very normal. Don't worry, relax.

    Default Neupogen and steroids

HI Ladies, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have two questions: has anyone done Neupogen and steroids together? I'm really in a pickle as to what to do in terms of my next FET cycle. I just had mild endo removed and have high uterine NK cells (28 cells per high power field). One doctor, Dr NL in Melboune, thinks I should be on Dex, intralipids, clexane. Another doctor in the US--who is very knowledgeable, but also conservative, and isn't really fully convinced about NK cells, thinks I should just do Neupogen and nothing else. In particular, he seems to think that steroids and Neupogen counteract each other. I have Dr NL's blessing to do the Neupogen with the Dex and intralipids. But maybe I should do just the Neupogen, or just the Dex/intralipids/clexane. Ugh. My head is spinning and this is stressing me out to no end.

Also, if this next FET doesn't work, I am considering consulting with Dr M. Does he do the Chicago tests? And does he monitor blood tests during pregnancy?

If you have any experience or thoughts it would be greatly appreciated.

USHMM, i have high nk cells in the uterine as well. Under Dr M I did it all, Dex, Neupogen, Intralipids and Clexane.
Maybe I didn't need it all but I wasn't taking a chance. I was leaving no stone unturned and it paid off, I'm now 31wks pregnant with twins.
I stopped Neupogen at about 8 -10wks, switched Dex to Prednisilone at 8wks, had last Intralipids at 18wks and stopped pred about 4wks ago. Still on Clexane though for my mthfr mutation gene.
I have bloods done every 4wks with Dr M, to monitor my treatment. I've not had any medical problems at all during this pregnancy.
    I hope this helps.
