Is there anyone at Hurstville for intralipids/IVIG on Saturday? I will be there, staying overnight and I was thinking maybe I'll have some company.
And now a stupid question, because I've never stayed over night in a hospital, can someone tell me what I should bring? I'm thinking toiletries, something to wear. Is there anything specific I need? Thanks in advance, ladies.

Take food, the food there is crap! Also there are no fridges in the rooms anymore, so if you need to refrigerate medicines you'll need an ice pack.

@HFAM yes take snacks! When I stayed I also would take a sleeping eyemask and earplugs (it's noisy at night) good warm socks & a jumper as some of the rooms are cold, a laptop/mags/a book, your phone charger.
@bertie oh wow good luck!! Let us know what happens. Thinking of you!! Xx

@MGC Bertie, gosh I'm so impressed you were able to do an update in labour! I hope it all went smoothly and you're enjoying your little one and managing to get some rest.

The contractions started at 2 minutes apart, then 5 mins, then 15 mins, then 30mins, then stopped!! Go figure!! Trust my body to do the opposite of what it's meant to.

Spent most of the day waiting for Dr M to show up, who told us his plan - if baby girl doesn't come naturally overnight, then it's a c-section tomorrow (Mon) afternoon. He said, since my waters have broken, that it's too risky to give me the drugs for an induction for a natural birth. So she'll be born one way or other tomorrow at 36w 4d - bit earlier than we were expecting, but there you go.
Hope everything went well! Looking forward to an update
