Hi ladies. I need advice/opinions. I'm currently CD19 due back to the clinic in the morning for what should be a final blood test to check for ovulation. I'm pretty sure today's the day as CM has gone eggy. So transfer would be in 5-6 days as we have a blastocyst in waiting. I however at the moment am running a temp of 38.5 and am starting to cough up mucus (gathering Iv got a chest infection). If this was you, would you pull the pin on the transfer? I'm hoping I'll be better in a weeks time but Iv got sick straight off the bat of sinusitis. DP thinks I should cancel as he feels my body won't be well enough to do what's it's meant to do.

I wouldn't be so quick to cancel, but only you in your gut will know if this is something you want to do xx

@Hopeful37, it is so a long distance/ endurance event isn't it? Vent away btw, we all need to.
I've decided to tackle the 2WW that starts tomoz with a strictly one day at a time mindset. See if i can stick with it, lol.

Sounds like a majorly cruisy sunday. Nice. I'd planned to be a housework dervish today but just could not be stuffed. Its just starting to mist in Bris, so no bike ride to ignore the tip either. Dammit :-)

This thread moves fast! Good luck to the ladies on the tww, and the ones stimming, and/or waiting to transfer. ✨💞

A few questions: after my unsuccessful cycle with no embies at all, now I'm waiting for af. Had my ovidrel trigger last Wednesday and have had cramps and very light spotting on Friday and a bit today. Is that normal? When am I supposed to get my period? I'm so lost!
I'll call the nurses tomorrow first thing in the morning.
    Thanks in advance. Xxx

One positive thing to happen today is AF came so I'm booking in for my next FET. At least I didn't have to wait too long to start... For once!!

@allykat111 I wouldn't cancel. You have 5-6 days and would probably be better by then, and even if you're not they say a lower immune system is good for implantation

Did anyone watch the SUNDAY NIGHT show about the egg freezing trend in America? I can't make out what I thought of it. On one hand it is a good idea and I'm sure plenty of people wish they had Te chance to have frozen their eggs at a younger age but they're commercialising it that it insults the people who have the real implications of getting pregnant..

The success rates of pregnancy with frozen eggs are slim to nil. If it wasn't for that fact then I'd consider something like that for DD if she has low amh in her early 20s like I did. But I think that's a little bit different as there is a medical basis of early ovarian demise and a shorter reproductive life span.
