Sounds like an ivf/ICSI split cycle is your best bet. It will work out where the problem is (for us it found the the problem was the sperm couldn't find the eggs even in a petri dish!). We can't get pregnant naturally but I want to walk into the appointment knowing all the facts to help move things along.

    Sariele that's awesome!

No it didn't because it's not tested for in Australia (something that makes me angry as we wasted 10 eggs to find out - in america they use hamster eggs or beads to test for this!). On paper we are amazingly fertile. His count and morph etc is nearly 50% more the WHO 'normal'. Our only issue found before we cycled was my AMH. I thank the flying spaghetti monster that I have DOR!

Sperm's ability to penetrate, or even bind to an egg. I'm America it's part of the semen analysis for IF treatment (to make sure they don't give you a treatment that could never work) over here they don't (wasting time and money). At least in South Australia they don't, and I've heard similar from ladies in other states.

I never heard of this test before either and didn't even know it's possible. My husband has kids already though so I am not to worried in our case. Makes me upset however knowing that both his children were "whoopsies". Of course he loves them even though they weren't planned. I love them as my stepchildren and as siblings for hopefully my children one day. Yet I am devestated knowing that him and his ex had no issue making babies and they weren't even planned and I just don't seem to fall pregnant even if we do all we can. Seems unfair.

Hi everyone I thought I'd jump on with you all now. I'm estimating I'll have my FET August/sept depending on AF. Had FET last month which was positive but ended up being a blighted ovum so just waiting for my levels to drop back down then wait a cycle before we can try again. I usually stalk threads but after our failed cycle feel like I need to go through it with ladies in the same boat I guess

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I hope your next transfer becomes your take home baby

Sorry to hear about the blighted ovum, a miscarriage is always hard but even harder after IVF!
Still waiting on my period! I've been using OPKs so I can at least try for those first two months and it's been getting darker all week but still nothing! I wonder if I will be one of those women who gets preggers after IVF, I have nothing wrong with me andDH has ccha he so much in his diet since hos last SA, he has also lost 25kg so I'm sure all of this would help!!! But if I was to get pregnant I'm unsure of what to do withy remaining embryos!
