Thanks for the welcome ladies. We are doing IVF in Adelaide -about 800km away. We're doing regular IVF - surrogacy laws in SA are funny about carrying partners eggs - another case of the laws being older than the technology that exists.

With our last cycle, i was on 150 of puregon - & got 10 good eggs. I have PCOS so high risk of over stimulation

Depends on if they'll let my cycle that month as I'll be seeing them after bloodtests start. I'm tracking this month and next month to make sure I know when I'm ovulating (cd16).

I was reading through some of my old posts and I can't find what grade my embryos are. I wrote 2aa but I think that was a typo of 5aa after a botched transfer attempt (fs didn't realise cervix could bend and so was drilling into mine). I think I have a 3ab and a 4ab.

Last time I was stupidly lucky and managed to get pregnant from the first successful transfer attempt, and from our first stim cycle (15 eggs, 10x IVF 0 fert, 5x ICSI 4 fert 3 freezer, I felt like an infertility cheat while at the same time having that pain from being infertile). I'm not looking forward to going back because there's no way my luck could last.

I have low amh (was 9.7 in 2012 and is 13.1 in 2015 due to losing nearly 40kg) but we also have a binding issue causing the 0% fert rate with IVF.

I think I was 175 of purogon but I'm not 100% as that was Jan 2013.

    May I join?
    A bit of background:
I am a 28 stepmother to two teenage kids. My husband is soon to turn 40. My goal was to be pregnant before this happens in the end of this year and I hope to have a shot doing ivf in September or October.
    Why ivf?
I suffered from endo since I was a teen. Undiagnosed until I was 27. I had my laparscopy (and endo removed) in August last year. We weren't trying at this stage it was more pain management as I haven't been on the pill since I am 21 due to not coping well on it. After my endo my Surgeon (which is also a leading FS) prescribed me a new type of pill with less side effects to take until I am ready to try for a baby and told me to see him again after 6-8 months trying if I don't fall pregnant.
Well picked up the pill and never took it as I just felt ready to be a mother after the surgery. We didn't try but didn't prevent since September with little intercourse in December as we were camping with hubby's kids.
In January I started temping and OPKs and based on these we did BD around the right time and continued to do this until this day.
After 3 weeks constant bleeding in March I saw FS again, turns out I didn't ovulate that month due to severe stress causing break through blerding. We just moved that month. Since then I had blood tests conforming ovulation every other month. Unfortunately the blood tests also confirmed PCO (without the "s" as no symptomes at all) with an AMH over 70.
FS told us to try for another 3-4 cycles as hubby's SA was great.
I see FS now in August to book ivf in september most likely as he doesn't consider IUI worth while if we can afford ivf.
Today I am 11dpo waiting for AF knowing it will come. As I am showing signs of depression with this whole ttc business (trying hard) I decided to stop trying and just regular BD until August. I doubt anything will happen lol.
In September we will have tried for 12 months, during ten of which we had a realistic shot with no success.
I know it's not a long time in comparison to others but I feel better being in the hands of the doctors as with every month I am not pregnant I am in pain during my periods thanks to endo.
I wish you all the best and hope to hear many success stories xxx
