Well I'm an eager beaver. Got up at 6:30am so I could get to the Hosp at 7:30am for my blood test to find out they open at 8 on Saturdays...oh well Iv been up and down since 4 am as my new kitten is politely training me for a baby by jumping on my head hourly from 4am.

    Default FET prep

    Hi ladies.
My DH and I started out 1st fresh IVF cycle in June. Unfortunately it ended in an early m/c. We have 4 little freezer babies left & im hopeful that we'll be able to start my first FET next month (Apparently i have to wait for my next AF - i hate this waiting game)
My question is how did you guys prepare for FET? I take my daily prenatal & fish oil with DHA but I've read about a heap of other vitamins that might be beneficial. I want to give our next embie its best chance at implantation.

    Welcome ladies!
@Myshell87 I take prenatals and megafol. After transfer I will take baby asprin, bromidine and Brazil nuts. I've been told not to take fish oil but I can't remember the reasons!

Hi ladies! Hope all is well.

@allykat111 aka eager beaver! You must be very close to that FET now?

I just had EPU - 17 eggies. DH got massive stage fright and couldn't produce a sample ... Slightly stressful news to wake up to from EPU! But fortunately he got there in the end.

I feel like I'm getting more nervous as the process goes on - I wonder of it's because I hadn't thought through it enough before, or maybe it's not until you're doing it that it really becomes real?

So strange - for the first couple of hours after EPU i missed my eggs! I got used to carrying them around I guess... And somehow when they're inside your body's looking after them ... Now they're out there in a Petri somewhere ... Hopefully get well acquainted with DH's sperm.

Wow this process really is a lot about accepting you don't have control isn't it?

Anyway, sorry that's just my little Monday freak out. Really hope you're all going well xx

@Grace17 congrats on the 17 eggs. I have one more test in the morning but there was a slight surge in today's so looks like maybe sat or Monday transfer. Kinda hoping Monday as I accepted to cover a sat supervision shift. Feel bad to let the teammate down as she's going to her sons wedding.

@Charlie waiting is the worst part! Seems like time stands still sometimes. Thats what u have to do just focus on one thing at a time. Best of luck with your embryos x
