Barca07 congratulations Hun, I'm so pleased for you. All the best for a smooth ride from here, though I can only imagine how anxious you will be this time.

Congratulations ladies too on all the safe arrivals so far and good luck for those coming soon. Please do give each one of your bubs an extra special hug for me.

Afm - well it's been 2 months since Kobe was born and last Saturday was my due date. It's been a long hard road, trying to seek answers to what happened but getting very vague and conflicting information. My OB suspects that "something got away from them" during his care which is hard to take. We took a weeks holiday O/s for my due date though which was just what we needed, time out with our living boy. Now I have seen my OB and fertility specialist. I'm out of embryos so need to do a full stim cycle. I need to wait 6 months from my CS so have a list of vitamins to start in April, will have a scan on my internal scar early May to check it and if it's all ok we will cycle in June. It seems so far away. I've also been told I will now be watched as high risk and have to have a CS probably a little earlier than usual.

Sounds like you and DH are taking good care of eachother. I hope you managed to relax and enjoy you holiday (at least a little bit!).

Hi hope your cs went well yesterday @Lisa Maria takes a bit out of you but planned vs emergency is soo much easier. ive done both and its chalk and cheese. I too gad a cold in last week's of preg and bought some stuff that i could take after birth for cough etc but bizarrely as soon as he was out my cold almost dissappeared. I coughed few times but hardly at all so didnt end up using any of the gargles lozenges etc. I think i was also scared to cough as when i did it gurt my cut like hell. The surgeon also said if i need to cough during cs let them know as when they are doing cs they dont want anything popping out!wtf!! I think that may have stopped me in my tracks right there!
As for me james is 1 week today.had nurse come by and hes putting on weight.measuring bit bigger and perfectly pinkπŸ˜†hes getting more alert now and feeding every 3 hrs so bit knackering but hes soo damn cute its ok. Bf getting ever so slightly easier too.
Good luck to anyone else still waiting for birth feels like an eternity until you're on the other side.πŸ˜†

For anyone that may be interested, we have started a fundraiser in honour of our beautiful boy. Today marks two months since he passed and unfortunately we weren't lucky enough to have a cuddle cot available to us during this time. We are trying raise money to donate one of these to the hospital he was cared at.
No pressure at all but if either you or anyone you know would be interested in donating here is the link.
Donations over $2 are tax deductible and every donation no matter how much will be greatly appreciated
