Congrats girls on your babies ♥ I haven't posted for ages but have been reading everyones progress.
I wanted to know if anyone has had an ECV? I am currently 36+3 and baby is still breech. The hospitals policy (public) is to offer ECV. Basically it is my choice to either go for the ECV where they will try and turn her or I can choose not to try ECV and book in for a C section. I am really confused as to which option I choose, especially as this is my first baby. Part of me worries that even if the ECV is successful I am now convinced I will end up with a traumatic labour which may end up in C section too if she is not ready :-( Ive also heard the ecv can be very painful and Im worried about the risk to her if we go ahead. Im also worried about having a C section and the longer recovery. Does anyone have any advice? X

Good to hear from u @Lisa Maria! Oh my 36 weeks! Hope u've been well. Is there anything u can do naturally to try turn bubs ard? Like exercises or something? How long before u need to decide to do ECV or not?

@Lisa Maria sorry hun I havent had any experience with ECV. What is your 'cut off' for deciding. I guess do you still have time for bubba to turn on its own? Have they given you any other methods that you might be able to use (yoga/positions) to encourage turning?

I would say please dont stress about a CSec if you decide to go that way. Yes it can be a longer recovery & it is major surgery. But my experience was really calm and enjoyable! I felt pretty great after 4 weeks.

yes there are excercises I have been trying, spending alot of time upside down :-) I also have done prenatal yoga the whole way through and I'm now seeing a Chiro to try and get her to turn. Unfortunatley I have to decide by tomorrow as they won't do an ECV after 37 weeks and if its a C section they want to book me in. I am leaning towards the C section now, I am worried she is not turning for a reason so why risk pushing her hmmmm?!
@NizzleRizzle Time goes so quick!! How are you feeling and doing now? I can't believe its only possibly 2 and half weeks (if we go the C Sect) until my little dumpling is here!!

Does anyone have any ideas for long middle names? We have a short first and last name and need something a bit longer in between. How is everyone else going with names? We had the one name the whole way along (Eve) and have now changed it due to hearing it on home and away and I have heard Evie ALOT it must be really popular at the moment.

No set names here. Except middle name is Anne after my grandmother. First names in the running are Scarlett, Bonnie, McKenzie & Indi. I love Zarli but the other half isn't sold on it 😕 either way we are waiting till she's out to decide on a first name.

Have an appt with ob this arvo. Secretly hoping he will bring my c section date forward

Names are HARD! We have no idea. Girls names are our big issue as our DD name is the only girls name we both like erkk!

Long middle names - Madeline, Katherine, Isabelle/a? Depends on your initials!!!!!
@stolz good luck this afternoon. I hope you can convince your OB to move fwd your csec. I keep having the thought of just booking a csec instead of trying for a vbac, combo of fear and just wanting to know when this is all happening lol! I dont think my OB would book it without many conversations now though lol! I love Zarli as well!
@Lisa Maria I say go with your gut as to what is best for you and bubba. Dont let anyone tell you one way is better, only you know what feels right. We all support you whatever your decision!

AFM first day of mat leave today hooray!!!!!! I feel a bit at a loose end, have DD in daycare this week so 3 whole entire days to myself. Very wierd as I havent had this for a few years lol! Will do some cleaning and sorting I think then plan a pedi in the next few days
