Thanks @SugarBerry! Not finding out sex, we've decided on a surprise. I just want to make it to the end in one piece (I just can't imagine ever feeling good in this pregnancy ) so all grand plans for nursery, decorating, shopping, baby shower out the window lol. I will have to take care of the basics, thinking cot, pram, car seat, a few 0000 and 000 clothes and everything else can wait till after the birth. I know i will prob kick myself for that, thinking newborn will be easier than being sick!! Congrats on a great scan!! Very exciting. Good news placenta is moving in the right direction too, hope it continues. How exciting to be feeling movements!! What do they feel like? I've been having pulse like feelings in my belly but not sure if it's actually just a vein I can feel or bubs... It's usually in the same spot and quite rhythmic which is why I think it's a pulse...

Welcome @sydma and congrats on a boy! Not sure how to set up a signature, sorry...

NizzleRizzle - good on you for staying strong and not finding out.....maybe you might change you mind at the scan with the excitment...lol. You can still decorate and buy baby things then add to it later and Im sure you will receive a heap of gifts (I did with my DD, I was quite overwhelmed with people's generosity and excitment!).
It wont be long before you start feeling something too, this one is so different from my pregnancy with my DD as my placenta is at the front this time so blocking the movements....with my DD I felt bubble type feelings early on then little movements, then big kicks and movments.....this one, no bubble type feelings, just light tapping so far....its very exciting when it starts, wont be long for you

    Hi Girls,

Unfortunately I don't have very good news.

We had our 24 week scan last Saturday and sadly there was no heartbeat. I was induced and our baby was born sleeping last Saturday night. We had a little boy.

At my last scan at 20 weeks, the baby was perfect. We are having some tests done to try and find out why but have been informed that most of the time they never find a cause.

It's been a tough few days, but we're getting there slowly.
