@Barca07 Have you had any sickness at all? I had queasiness in the afternoons around week 6/7 but nothing unbearable. Its so nerve racking when you dont feel symptoms or sickness like most, all my scans have been good so far, hope you get some relief after your next scan too x

No sickness, If anything I have noticed that I am constantly hungry until lunch and then after lunch it's the complete opposite and I have to remind myself to eat dinner.
The only thing is my boobs are a little sore.

I'm sure everything is ok, it is just a little unnerving sometimes I forget there is a little human growing in there

Barca07 I'd say your just one of the lucky ones! I also don't get sickness. I had just a couple of bouts of nausea but they didn't last long, and a few weeks of constant hunger. I did notice I've been more tired than last time but that could also be down to running around after a 1 year old. By the end of the 9th week though everything disappeared and I feel completely normal, except for my belly which is huge already!

Just had another scan after an initial hiccup (doctor couldn't see pregnancy sac from abdominal u/s!!) had to have a transvaginal u/s and everything was fine but I tell you, those few seconds when they couldn't find the pregnancy sac was the worst!!

So everything is fine, measuring on date and heartbeat was good.
Having my nipt test on Thursday and then 12 week ultrasound.

I'm still on pessaries until week 12 (I was really hoping that today would be my last)

So relieved that everything is ok

Also, just wondering what everyone is doing in the way of exercise at the moment?
I'm just going for a walk everyday, but was thinking of starting pilates or some strength training.

    Oh that's great news barca07.

I got my Nipt test results last night, low risk for everything and found out we are having another boy!

I saw a physio that specialised in pregnancy last time and they ran a spin/Pilates class. Half hour hike work then half hour pregnancy Pilates. I did that from 16 to about 26 weeks then Bub got stuck transverse and separated the ribs in my back so they switched me to clinical Pilates. It was great so I'd definitely recommend doing something similar if you can. It's great to give your muscles a good stretch. I'm not sure this time as finding time with a one year old is a bit challenging but once the weather warms up im going to keep trying to get out for as many walks as possible at least

Great news @Barca07 I was lloking forward to logging in tonight and hearing your news!! I'm sure your heart stopped between Ultrasounds, how stressful :-/

I am not doing any exercise at the moment. I was doing pilates 3-4 times per week before pregnancy and jogging and I really miss it I am just so worried and scared something might happen to the baby, plus I'm on steroids still and the Adenomyosis has a higher risk of miscarriage. I am thinking once I have my 12 week scan to ease into it again. My pilates teacher said she will tailor things to me but I found a pregnancy pilates class nearby and would probably feel more comfortable if the whole group is aimed at pregnant women. So I think I will start that up 1 day per week and do a pregnancy yoga as well and maybe just walk a couple of days per week. Going through all the IVF and infertility I realised how important exercise was for my mind and body so I do want to continue it but it is so frightening Can you find a pregnancy pilates in your area?

Very exciting @SoReady congrats on another boy!! When is your next scan/appointment?

BTW did anyone just see on A Current Affair they had a segment on an alternative to IVF? I had it on ready to watched and just realised I typed through the whole story and missed it.

I'm seeing my OB next Tuesday and she does a scan at every visit. Then I have the NT scan on Thursday. Just a week and a half left and I'll be in 2nd trimester!

    When is your scan Lisamaria?

    Yay only 1 week! :-)

Im not sure yet, my FS pretty much broke up with me last visit "Well your almost finished your drugs now, you don't need anymore prescriptions, you will have to bring the baby in to meet us" and I was heart broken haha but its good things are moving on, so my first appointment with the GP for shared care with the hospital is on Friday, Not sure what to expect, I guess they will give me referral for the NT scan and I am 10w2d now so I assume around 2 weeks time!

Ha yes it feels weird having the final visit with the FS. I didn't even see mine as she had someone else doing the early pregnancy scans on the day mine was scheduled. I haven't seen her since January when I had the scratch done before our Feb attempt.
The ultrasound place I am going to for my NT scan only does it from 12+5 at earliest. I'll see my OB monthly until after 30 weeks probably then fortnightly til 36 weeks then weekly and she scans and measures at every visit. I'm away 3 weeks in December though then she is away 2 weeks in Jan so not sure what will happen!
