Amazing!! So nice to see how much it's changing your life & your families, must be such a big relief for all of you. Your story has definitely touched me enough to tell those around me I want to be an organ donor.

hi misskitty, I know you can certainly tell this thread has been life changing for you, (and we are all celebrating with you), but I think truly, this thread has been life changing for many people. I know I have always wished to be an organ donor, but many others will perhaps also become organ donors. also your strength and courage throughout this horrid ordeal, has been inspirational and given us all an example of wonderful human spirit. you have still had time to listen and give support and encouragement to others. From my heart. God Bless you and your husband, and your sweet children. marie.

I'm doing really well lovely. I wake up in the morning feeling so good - I can't believe I felt so sick for so long but it just becomes your normal.
I was allowed to shoot home to the farm for the night on Wednesday to watch my kids in their Speech and Drama festival and then we decided to all come back to Perth on Thursday after school so we can have a long weekend together. I have missed them soooooo much!
All my levels are still really good and the transplant team are really pleased.
I had my 40 staples out on Wed but a little bit of the wound opened up while I was home so I quickly stuck it back together with steri strips! Currently sitting in the transplant clinic waiting while the kids spread some "sunshine" around to hospital so will see what they say about it.
But really all couldn't be going better. I just feel so happy.
