I am phenomenally sad right now. My everyday life hurts every day both physically and emotionally. I hate everyone and I miss my DH. I have cried all night. I hate being sick, I hate feeling sick, I hate my tubes - they're mega uncomfortable and they hurt and itch. I have one in my guts and one in my neck and they're gross. I hate hearing about people who can't see what they have. I hate not being with my love. I hate being a sick, part time mum. I hate having to tape down my tubes so that DH and I can have sex. I'm so very jealous of normal people. I read posts about breastfeeding tips - how do you hit a big tube that snakes out of your shoulder? You don't. I feel like saying just toughen up! You are well! Enjoy your babies! And that's not fair. Life's not fair. I hate chronic kidney disease. I just want to be home with DH and my kids but I can't and I don't know when this will happen. We can't make plans we don't know what will happen. The thought of moving off the farm is just unfathomable.

That really helps to put things in perspective for me Misskitty.

What you're dealing with is truely unfathomable, as DSS said. What's the next step?

When will you be fit to go through transplant?

I wish there was something that I/we could do to make this feel better. Is there something we could do?

    Oh misskitty.
I often think about you and how you going. I think you need a full on pity party! Well deserved with all that you face each and every day.
I know it's a very different situation. .. But I find with my DD having a few days to just wallow always makes me feel better! Sounds counterproductive but when it all gets on top of you I think it's important to acknowledge that. .. It helps to pick yourself up ... dust yourself off and soldier on.
I wish I could do something for you. Sending hugs. xx

I agree with @Tamtam - wallow for a while babe. Don't fight it, it zaps your energy. A good wallow is sometimes exactly what's needed. I wish this was over for you or there was some end in sight. I think of you often

Always thinking of you misskitty. Our lives are better for having you in them - however virtual it may be. Hoping your body gets that kidney it needs soon x.
