    Just a little update. Yesterday I had my last haemo session. Was warm in Perth yesterday but it's always freezing at dialysis!

    I'm off to the PD clinic this morning to show them I still remember what to do and then it's back to PD. We'll stay in Perth until after Australia Day to just make sure that it's all working properly and then it's back to the bush! I have everything crossed for life to just be boringly normal for a good while.

    Just another little update for anyone that's interested
    I've been home for about a month and all is going well - back being a mum and doing daily reading and playgroup and all the other mum stuff and loving it.

    Dialysis is a PITA but it's part of life and we all just deal with it. Sometimes, I feel a bit peeved and uncharitable towards "well people whinges" especially at certain times of the month but I know that's not fair and it's my stuff and all that.

    DH is lovely as always, he took me to the city for my birthday a couple of weeks back to see Les Mis (he's seen it with me three times now - that's true love!) which is my absolute favourite musical and we stayed at Crown for the night and went out to dinner and had a rare and wonderful night out together.

    He took this pic of me doing a dialysis exchange in our hotel room, we didn't bring my stand so made do with a lamp and a coat hanger! A bit of an over share but you lot are like my family so meh!

    I'm off to see the new transplant team at my new base hospital next week and fingers crossed I'll get that new kidney.
