I'm sorry to hear about your BIL, is he eligible to be on the transplant list?
He isn't at the moment.. I do suspect that it's on part because of his lack of compliance in some aspects of his treatment - it's very disappointing..

Yes. Not uncommon - the resistance to aspects of treatment but very hard to watch for family I expect.

TBH it just makes me wish that the people like you who would do everything and then more to battle through would get some sort of magical reward for your hard work and strength!! Xx

So my Hickman line (number three) decided not to work today. Here is a picture so y'all know what I'm on about!
    ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1418811463.903075.jpg
So got to dialysis clinic at 8am. They fiddled around until 9.30 then decided it didn't work and rang hospital. Get to hospital by 11am. Wait in corridor until 12.30. Sent for X-ray. Wait until 2.30 in corridor (thankful to always have book on me at this point) told line has a kink in it and new one needs to be put in tomorrow. Home by 4pm.
Bit scared for new line because it was so awful putting it in last time. Wish they knocked you out!
Anyway, I don't expect responses. Just updating the records of this saga.
