Well, for a start, I'm continually humbled by how supportive you lot are. I know I can be a prickly onion person and therefore I'm snarky and sometimes not cool. So I really am humbled.

I'm actually doing well. I can't remember if I mentioned EPO injections in my last update and I'm too lazy to look, but EPO is a hormone that tells bone marrow to make red blood cells and EPO comes from the kidneys. My kidneys don't work well, so aren't producing EPO so I get to inject it into my tummy once a week.

I've been doing this for four weeks now and I actually have energy! Today I made three white choc mudcakes that I'll turn into Hoot on Friday, two slices, made tea, did washing and it's past 9pm and I'm still breathing!

I'm doing good tonight - I've felt so sad for the last few days, lots of tears but I'm good.

That was a very long winded reply! Love you N xx

Glad to hear the injections are helping! Jabbing yourself is never fun (I did it for six months recently for liver issues. Mine made me feel crap though lol) so I'm glad it's working.
I presume Hoot is for a certain little mans birthday? Can't believe he is 1
Also glad you are having a better day today
Must catch up next time you're up this way (or I I ever get your way) xox

By starting the injections does that quantify you to go on the transplant list our do you still have to wait for the dangler?

I don't think I would be able to keep it together at all if I were in the same position. its a sucky situation.

Unfortunately not. I won't go on the list until I start dialysis. Sometimes I do struggle to keep it together but I have three amazing kids and a husband and a farm and that is life that keeps on turning. I truly does suck but I'm still here and I have to fight.

It was my little boys second birthday today - he was born at 31+5 weeks and I was reflecting on photos and just thinking how blessed we are and how I feel so much more at piece this year - last year I cried so hard on his birthday.

But I feel strong tonight. I have fears and so many doubts but I'll do this.
