My vote would be cloth I've had leather seats and it got so hot in summer. Is leather trim an option, you still get the luxury factor with cloth in the middle?

Leather. Our last 2 cars have been leather. I've previously owned cars with fabric and back on the day, vinyl.
We've had charcoal leather in a black car and honestly, with air con I've never have a problem with it not cooling down pretty quickly. Then again, I don't wear short shorts or very short skirts so that might be why it doesn't faze me. But from a cleaning point of view alone, leather wins hands down. Plus, I prefer the look of it.

The leather getting hot in summer is a really good point.

Id burn myself sitting on the driver seat after my car spent the day in the Melbourne sun in summer. Very annoying!

Update! Ended up getting the Ford Territory Titanium which has leather interior. So glad I did! With the kids getting in and out at their footy matches it's already proven a winner. Cloth seats would already be so dirty. Plus it's got a DVD player which the kids love.

Leather. We went back to cloth in our Territory after leather and it's so horrible. We had a nice grey leather in our old car though so it never got too hot. We have seat covers always on the cloth seats but I still dislike them immensely.
