Must have? A carrier!!! Either ergo or manducca or hugabub.
    Must do? Vaccinate.

Advice? "This time will pass" and that teething truly sucks.

Must haves.. A swaddle suit (I liked love to dream), newborn photos to cherish and a carrier (I'm a woven wrap kinda girl).

Advice... Umm.. I haven't survived the first year yet. I'd have to say, trust your own instincts and parent the way you want to, not how others tell you to.

Musts: do all the things you want to do by yourself while baby is still little enough to be carried/sleep/not destroy things!! Eg: explore your town while wearing baby, go to the gardens and wander around.... This is assuming baby is not a round the clock screamer!!

    Must have: bonds wonder suits!

    Advice: don't clean, sleep!

Musts: flashy toys that sing! It keeps my DS occupied for AGES I can take some me time or even sneak in a little nap (until he finds me haha) while he's playing

Advise: forgive yourself! I went through a bad PND stage (slowly getting better) where I found myself crying all day, even if DS was happily playing, i found I was being distant from DS because I could cope or felt he deserved better etc. just forgive yourself, being a mummy is so hard, yet so rewarding!

And yes, sleep when baby sleeps! My DS is 10 months and I still sleep whenever I can
