I have a crate of things to donate as i am slowly decluttering. I give them to the local church instead of free cycle.

Whoops, didn't realise it was going to be a structured thing, just thought we would encourage each other with our own ways.

    In that case, I'm out!

DT75 - you can do your own thing, do whatever you want, encourage each other and post photos of your beautiful clean room/pantry/fridge/cupboard/house ...

I will post a challenge/suggestion/idea every day ... and you can do that. or something else. or skip that day because life gets in the way.

    its up to you

Walk around the house and find 20 things that you don’t need, use or want to freecycle.

*google freecycle in your local area to give away unwanted items rather than send them to landfill.

    Cleaning Green
The best way to stock your green cleaning kit is with an economy-size box of baking soda, a gallon jug of vinegar, and some basic table salt in as large a quantity as you can find. Baking soda is an excellent green cleaning product to use throughout your home, especially in the kitchen. It's also food-safe and has no odor. Baking soda is mildly abrasive, yet it can't harm your surfaces, whether they're linoleum or expensive imported Italian marble.
You may also want to keep lemons and lemon juice around for some of the tasks described below. Vinegar and lemon can often serve the same purpose, but lemon has a much nicer scent

First of all – PUT SOME MUSIC ON !!! Cleaning is always better with music.
Geez I could do this just with outgrown baby toys and clothes! I think that is my biggest clutter by far!

    Ok cool, thanks!
I posted my beginning on the last page, but will put it here as I am nearly done!

    Lounge Day 1:
    - move laundry basket onto bed (it will get done there)
    - move ironing board, iron, etc into dining room (where it's supposed to be)
    - clear coffee table
    - clean coffee table, put cover on it
    - pack up and put away H's old laptop
    - pack up and put away all cables
    - go through 'piles' on bookshelves (papers, magazines, etc everywhere)
    - put H's papers on his chair and get him to sort before sitting down (haha!)
    - chuck out rubbish, and recycling
    - dust shelves

    - sweep floor
    - vacuum couch and chairs
    - mop

    Blue= DONE

I moved into my house last year and am slowly going though organising everything and making lists of storage we need, paint ect as we go so it is not so much declutter but organization

We currently have our rumpus as a general storage room and i am going through and finding where to rehome everything

I'm not going to be too hard on myself, linen cupboard (3 full doors), laundry cupboard (1 full door) spruce up DD's pram and donate to a friend or gumtree. I'll reassess once I'm done, will post photos. I'm sure there is plenty in the garage I can cull, but living with DH who throws nothing out (I have an awesome broken broken cane basket filled with petrol vouchers from the 1990's that I'll share a pic of, together with an empty bottle collection ...) and DD who is a living cyclone it's tough!
