Default First clomid cycle...when to test?

Hi ladies I have just done my first cycle of clomid and blood tests confirmed I ovulated (they were 72.6) AF is due today but there are no signs of her (yay!) is it to early for me to test today? I'm itching to do it but don't want to be disapointed by a negative result xo

    Test! Test! Test!
sorry, I have really no idea. What dpo are you? You may see a very early result on a sensitive test from 10dpo. Closer to 14dpo would give a clearer result.
post a pic if you do!

In my experience clomid can lengthen cycles so you may find that you won't get your period around the same time as you usually did.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Lol!!! I'm itching to test, but scared to. I'm around 14 dpo. AF shows no sign which I mentioned but I guess just wait and see?

Oh really? My cycles were so erratic due to my pcos I never know when it's coming. How long can it lengthen ur cycles by?

Oh yeah, that's right- My FS said Clomid could delay O by 3-4 days. Can't remeber if LP gets longer as well, didn't delay O or AF for me the three cycles that I did, but we are all different!

I just finished my first round of clomid (for this year, did 3 rounds last year) too and on Monday just gone I was CD30, I knew I had ovulated but wasn't showing any symptoms but on a whim decided to poas and to my surprise it was a bfp.

I found clomid regulated my crazy cycles from 40+ days to 32 days.

    you get your bfp

    Your welcome @Anasi

If you get your bfp we will probably by due very close to together. I know how frustrating it is waiting for the right time to test and I think being on clomid and knowing that you have ovulated gives you a higher expectation that you will get a bfp. I also have pcos and have been on the ttc journey for over 2 years If you ever need anyone to talk to feel free

At 14dpo I'd definitely be testing. But I would have been testing since about 7dpo lol. My fertility clinic does hcg blood test at 16dpo if period hasn't arrived by then.
    Let us know the outcome!!
