    Default WDYT of Helena?

DP wants to use Helena as a middle name if we have a girl.

Do you think it is too old fashioned? (Go on.. be honest..)
Also, could you put it with a first name ending with 'A' or would it sound to silly?

    Ta!

    I LOVE it!

Would you pronounce Helen-A or Helayna? ( I love both ways)

I like it.. it means 'light' that's a beautiful blessing! mmm.. I don't know if I'd put it with a first name ending in 'a'... but it would sound nice with a first name ending in 'n' or a soft sound like a 'ce'... I think it does need a first name ending in a consonant or a soft sound.

    That's just my opinion though

    HI
sorry i think its a bit old fashion and prudish...and with a surname ending in a might be too much?
Plus im sure she d end up getting called Helen.

but each to their own, if you like it ..go for it!

    What about...cadence??

It's for a middle name so probably will be rarely said

Well my name is Helen so I am going to be biased

I like it pronounced Helayna best aswell. I think it is ok to use as a first or second name.
People have always called me Hels anyway....
